The only party holding a democratic process for leadership in British Columbia, has been the Conservative Party of BC. Yet the former BC Liberals have repeatedly given the middle finger to the Conservative membership & sabotaged the very party that gave them an opportunity to take down David Eby & the BC NDP. Almost a year ago, I stood up and called for the end of the carbon tax with Bruce Banman — we were the only two Conservatives in BC’s Legislature. At the time, David Eby and the BC NDP called our common sense Conservative Party crazy, and said we hated the environment. The BC NDP championed this broken tax for eight long years, hurting everyday people and families. Then, on the heels of the election and tightening polls, David Eby was told by pollsters that he needed to suddenly dump his deeply held personal beliefs and change his mind for political expediency. The elimination of the carbon tax today is a victory for our whole Caucus, team, and over 10,000 Conservative Party of BC members — but more importantly, the taxpayers of BC. I am so proud of my Conservative Party of BC MLAs who refused to go home until the job was done — every single Conservative MLA fought this fight, even folks who were sick or injured checking in from hospitals and home. When it comes to helping everyday, hardworking people with affordability — common sense Conservatives will continue to lead, and David Eby will continue to follow.

I have good news, despite the fact that the BC Conservatives cut off all contact after the coup against Kerry-Lynne Findlay, we have decided to optimize the conservative movement in the fight against the radical left. Wherever you are in BC, you will have a real conservative option to vote for. Over the last year and a half I have seen many BC “Conservative” MLAs vote for insane NDP policy. On the other hand, we have fought side by side with other MLAs against those very same policies. Unfortunately, some of those conservatives are being purged right now. You have our word, that the subversion of democracy from the insiders who are trying to recreate the BC Liberal party will not go unopposed, and no conservative will be forced to go to polls demoralized. At the same time, just as we did in the Abbotsford-Mission by-election when Kerry-Lynne Findlay was running, we will not oppose true conservatives who will fight for the values we all share to ensure victory over the extremist NDP agenda.

By being the WOKE capital of Canada, BC has rolled out numerous toxic policies that slowly trickle east. Like injection sites. Mark Carney gave David Eby authority to strangle the economic growth of Alberta & BC, on a whim. David Eby said there was no one willing to step up to the plate to build a pipeline on June 25th 2025. Now Eby is working to ensure no one is willing to risk even proposing a pipeline because he will make sure it wastes mega money before being rejected, just in consultations. Eby is sabotaging our economy. Eby flooded Canada with "safe supply" pills taxpayers paid for. Eby is a toxic sore that has infected Canada & needs to be removed by voters or even by the police.

Millions of dollars are being spent on an unnecessary election happening two years earlier than it should to fight someone that did not create BCs problems. Trump isn’t to blame for the deficit Eby posted, which is bigger than California’s, a state that’s 4x the size of Canada (by GDP). Last I checked, Trump did not pass SOGI or DRIPA & started giving away our land. Eby did that all by himself.

Conservative politics in Canada are about to be shaken up. Jamil Jivani: "You have people who should be offering an alternative to the Liberals...a lot of people who should have had the spine to stand up to the Liberals instead wound up trying to appease the Liberals in power." 🟠📉🔵📈 : After being asked about a new poll that showing the BC NDP would easily lose an election against the Conservatives, David Eby vows not to hold an election for another two years. 🗳️ Fun Fact : The BC NDP only have a one seat majority after a 22 vote win in a riding the BC NDP initially lost. It took weeks for Elections BC to determine the winner. The October 2024 British Columbia election was easily the most dysfunctional, corrupt & unethical election in Canadian history. The BC NDP tried to change the ballot to switch the name of the Conservative Party of British Columbia to the BC Conservatives, after mail in ballots had been sent out. Early voting centers had staff take home blank ballots & even cast ballots in some ridings. The BC NDP even allowed phone in voting. 15,000+ ballots were added to the final count, AFTER election day. Affidavits were filed showing dementia ward seniors were sending in mail in ballots, that had been requested in bulk. Including in the very riding the BC NDP won, by 22 votes in a recount. When the government can change the rules and take weeks to determine the winner of an election, you can't expect them to care about the will of the people. This should be abundantly clear to everyone in BC watching David Eby gift away our rights, with DRIPA. All to cut political deals with First Nation chiefs threatening to take down his government, if he doesn't do as they demand. If Eby is allowed to continue for 2 more years, democracy will become a very small factor in how British Columbia is run, moving forward.

It’s dirty politics at its worst. David Eby and the NDP called an unnecessary and callous snap election two years early because they believed they could win again while the opposition was without a permanent leader. They ignored municipal and school-board candidates who were already campaigning, as well as the Union of BC Municipalities’ request to wait. Maybe that was part of the plan. With municipal elections underway, the NDP may have calculated that British Columbians would have less time to focus on its record: spending, massive deficits, health-care challenges, crime and disorder, the toxic-drug crisis and rising costs. I supported Kerry-Lynne Findlay in the leadership race, along with thousands of others. I understand the frustration and disappointment many people feel about what happened. But I hope we will set those feelings aside and seize this opportunity to change course with a new government. This appeal is for all British Columbians: conservatives, centrists, independents, disillusioned NDP voters, working families, seniors, young people and small-business owners. Particularly, I appeal to those considering OneBC and CenterBC. We may not agree on everything, but for those who believe life has become increasingly difficult under the NDP, the choice is clear: support Lorne Doerkson and the BC Conservatives. Let’s not allow disagreement or bitterness to cost us this opportunity to turn British Columbia around.
