David Eby says you can't trust the BC Conservatives because their leader is an interim leader. He's the one who called an election specifically to take advantage of these circumstances. It's such a shameless attack that even CBC is calling him out for this.

He can keep spewing whatever he wants, but let’s be clear @Dave_Eby @bcndp: you already had a majority government elected and a mandate to lead BC. There was no need to call an election. If this were a minority government it would be a different conversation, but this is slimy politics. This election will waste time, money and resources when our province has bigger issues to address, like your record debt.

Here are the facts Eby spoke of: • Since 2024, Conservatives have been in chaos - TRUE. • 4 Leaders in (last) 10 months - TRUE • They (BC Conservatives) want a blank cheque on who their leader will be - TRUE (means no democratic process). • BC needs the stability - TRUE (both from Eby and the BC Conservatives, both represent instability). • Claims BC Conservatives railed against his (NDP) Massey tunnel rebuild plans taking food away from workers. - TRUE (but twisting the facts, see below). The new Liberal party (aka BC conservative party with a small "c") created all the instability in the party. -- Important Facts About the New BC Liberal party -- Regarding the Massey Tunnel debacle. While Kerry-Lynne Findlay was the leader of the BC Conservatives, she posted two articles on the BC Conservative website explaining how David Eby has screwed up the Massey tunnel project for 9 years, resulting in the project that will now cost billions more than it would have cost. I checked those two articles on the BC Conservative website, they are REMOVED.
