David Einhorn says today feels more like 2007 than the dot-com bubble - even as he just pitched five US stocks with roughly 52% to 167% upside: “I actually think it’s a little bit more like maybe like 2007.” this is him explaining where he’s still finding value in...

The first thing he needs to do is outperform the market (which he has not done for ages) and then I can even turn on the audio here.

He's been calling every year as 2007.

The best opportunities usually show up when the market hates the story but the underlying cash economics are improving. Cheap alone isn’t enough. Something inside the business has to be changing.

Calling it 2007 while still hunting for triple-digit upside. Einhorn warns and buys in the same breath. That’s the difference.

Whether it's like 2007 or the dot com bubble, in both cases you lost over 50%.

RWA is starting to look less like one market and more like several different markets sharing the same label. I spent some time going through CoinGecko RWA Charts, and the most interesting part wasn’t the headline market cap. It was the gap between where the value is concentrated and where tokenization is expanding. At the time of this recording, the dashboard showed roughly $8.38B in tokenized RWA market cap and $1.53B in 24H volume. Capital is still concentrated in commodities Commodities: $5.397B Stocks: $2.383B ETFs: $607M That means commodities represent roughly 64% of the tracked market, while stocks sit around 28% and ETFs around 7%. Tokenized equities may be getting a lot of attention, but the capital distribution tells a different story. Issuer market cap and product breadth are telling two different stories On the issuer side, Tether and Paxos account for roughly $4.62B combined, more than half of the market cap shown in the issuer chart. Then switch the same dashboard from market cap to token count. Picture changes completely. Reality: 572 tokens Ondo Finance: 447 Dinari: 248 Robinhood Europe: 192 xStocks: 141 This is where the data becomes useful. Market cap shows where capital is concentrated. Token count shows where product coverage is broadest. Volume shows where actual trading activity is taking place. Looking at only one of those metrics can give you a very incomplete picture of what is happening across tokenized assets. CoinGecko’s RWA Charts puts all three together and lets you break them down by asset type or issuer, then move through timeframes from 24H all the way to Max. For me, that makes it more useful as a discovery tool than simply another market-cap page. You can actually see which parts of the RWA market are carrying value, which issuers are expanding coverage, and where activity is shifting. Explore the RWA data yourself:

.Erik Voorhees: It’s actually good, from the Trojan horse perspective, that Bitcoin was traceable enough for traditional institutions to tolerate it. “When Bitcoin came out, everyone called it private, thought of it as private. It was referred to as anonymous in every news story. And in some ways, it is very private and very anonymous. But the truth is that it’s also extremely trackable and traceable. It is not private in reality. And the question is, should it have been from the start? And at first I thought, yes, it should have been more private. And that was a mistake in its design. However, I think if Bitcoin had been anonymous truly from the start, like a Zcash or a Monero, it would have had such antagonism from the state. I don’t know that the state could have snuffed it out, but they would have tried much harder. And I think it’s actually good, from the Trojan horse metaphor perspective, that it was traceable enough that the traditional institutions could tolerate it. They’ve never liked it, but they could at least tolerate it because there is some traceability. And that has allowed Bitcoin to grow. And I think in its shadow, that other crypto assets are actually anonymous is very healthy. The strength of cryptocurrency as a concept in society, I think, is served best when Bitcoin itself is not perfectly private, but other assets are. That is a very difficult thing, I think, for the state to combat. And that decentralization of attributes is really, really crucial. So, yeah, I’m very glad that there are other coins that are private. I want there to be more of them, and I want them to be more popular. And I think it’s okay that Bitcoin itself is not.”

#WATCH | Delhi | SEMICON India 2026 |Lars Reger from NXP Semiconductors in Netherlands, says, "The interaction was very good, not only with the ministers but also with the Prime Minister. Yesterday, we had a very fruitful CEO roundtable as well... The focus was on how we can build systems that enable a complete Indian electronics industry, not just a semiconductor industry. What we are looking at worldwide is a future that anticipates intelligent systems all around us—small robots and connected devices everywhere... We have all this silicon, but we need to train our customers and help them apply it quickly. This is an area where the Indian market is expanding rapidly at the moment, and we need to educate and support as much as we can..." He also says, "From both the government side and the industry side, we are discussing the next steps needed to support a broad student base, customer base, and startup ecosystem. We are running startup competitions, and I am actually on my way to one now that we are organizing together with Minister Goyal, to ensure that the ecosystem receives the support it needs. My comparison has always been that the Indian market is like a tiger that is ready to jump. Everyone knows India as a major R&D hub. For the past 50 years, NXP and its predecessor companies have been involved in research and development here, including hardware and software development. That is already well established. What is emerging now is the growing demand within the Indian market for electronic systems. That is extremely exciting, and we need to be well prepared to serve that market and ensure that people understand what is possible. It is a technical exercise, but it is also a communication exercise, and that is what makes it so exciting."
