@friedberg Plastics provide a scalable cheap distribution mechanism of food and water that has propelled life expextancy worldwide. The life expectancy data does not support even an ounce of sleep lost over the externalities . Maybe you'd prefer a world before plastics?

@friedberg Unfortunately even aluminum cans have a thin coating of plastic on the inside to prevent the water or other drinks from coming into direct contact with the aluminum and causing corrosion. This problem will take a lot of societal change to solve.

@friedberg So what was their diet and lifestyle patterns (among anything else noted). Thanks!

@friedberg Our species is doomed. This crap is already in watersources everywhere with no means to reverse the pollution (hope I’m proven wrong) . But hey, great outlook for the healthcare industry overall.

@friedberg Nearly all potable water will travel through plastic before you drink it. Most new homes are plumbed with pex (plastic). I'd bet the bottling facilities they get fancy glass water from sends it to bottles through plastic tubing. There's no winning here.

@friedberg Here is the article:

@friedberg Eliminating plastic bottles is a start, but somewhat meaningless when brushing your teeth with plastic bristles.

@friedberg Life in plastic is not fantastic

@friedberg Me when Friedberg has science corner

@friedberg The data on $jason is showing high profile returns
