To all these Protestants who claim you are former Catholics, and you say that the Catholic Church taught you not to read the Bible or that you should stay away from the Bible, and that you can't understand it, only the Church can, quit creating calumny and falsehoods. I have literally walked into Mass and they have Bibles out in stands. You can literally contact your diocese and they'll mail you a Bible, as well as the Catechism. I know because I've done it. Vatican II, even the Catechism of the Catholic Church, requires Christians to read the Bible, so just stop with the calumny. There are a lot of things I disagree with in the Catholic Church, but this is not one of them. So stop lying. The Catholic Church teaches to read the Bible. They have study Bibles. Since I’m one of the “Christian Zionist influencers” you’re addressing (even though that’s not what I am): no, we’re not done. Once again, Erika Kirk’s Biblein365 program is anti-Catholic. It’s run in conjunction with a Calvary pastor (Candace hates those) and links to commentary that is sometimes explicitly anti-Catholic. I’ve provided examples of that and will link them in the thread again below. Charlie was married to Erika who was baptized Catholic but seemingly no longer practicing. A lot of people don’t get that when you’re raised Catholic, some of the paraphernalia sticks. I have a rosary in my wallet right now. I have Our Lady of Guadalupe hanging on my wall. I have another Mary pendant as well as a crucifix pendant (different from a cross). I also still attend Mass sometimes. Yet I am not Catholic. And indeed, I have the same theological issues Charlie had with the Catholic faith. Having a St. Michael pendant doesn’t make you Catholic or “almost Catholic,” and Catholics damn well know that. So no, as long as people other than his wife are going to speak for Charlie, we’re not done.

I have questions. An adult neophyte, in the Roman Catholic Church, you are accepted as into the Church with ALL the Sacraments: Baptism (if you’ve not been validly Baptized), Confession, First Communion AND Confirmation at the same time. Candace Owens has just said she has not been Confirmed, and will be after Easter. Ergo…all this time, Candace has been speaking, representing herself “as a Catholic”, she has NOT been a Catholic. Intention to convert (Order of Christian Initiation) is not the same thing as BEING a Catholic. Honestly, I am shocked that Brompton Oratory has remained silent. That her Bishop, @DioceseNashville has not addressed this. Michael Knowles, did you know this?

It was this app that opened my eyes to all the beauties I didn't know that the Catholic Church has. This app has converted many people to the Catholic Christian faith. It has brought many Catholics who were confused about the Catholic faith back to the Church. If you are looking for where to grow richly in knowledge of the Catholic Church, this app is for you. It contains all the novenas and litanies you can think of. Mark Wahlberg, the popular Hollywood actor, taught me how to recite the rosary perfectly on this app. This app contains "Bible in a Year" and catechism podcast that was recorded by fathermikeschmitz during the covid lockdown. Fr. Mike read and explained the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation and explained it in such a way that it fits in our world today. Many Genzs all over the world have returned back to the Catholic Church because of this Hallow App. It also contains many gregorian chants and radio drama of many Saints that you can listen to. Saints like St. Valentine, St. Josephine Bahkita, St. Lucy, St. Patrick, St. Pope John Paul the Great, St. Padre Pio, and too many to count. Do not be tricked! Doesn't matter if you are agnostic, atheist, Catholic etc or hate the Catholic Church. ALL OF THAT IS INCONSEQUENTIAL. Voting God out of the Irish constitution would have more than just philosophical implications, it would very likely have LEGAL implications. It is also a commie-esque move to try to ensure the people recognise the state only. I don't know who this lady is but her video is informative, rational and logical.

Baptised Catholics who walk away from the true Church often claim they have “seen the light.” But let’s be clear, that is not the light. No failure of a priest. No scandal of a bishop. Not even the weakness of a Pope is ever a justification to abandon the Catholic Church. The truth is this: you don’t leave Christ because of Judas. Baptised Catholics who walk away from the true Church often claim they have “seen the light.” But let’s be clear, that is not the light. No failure of a priest. No scandal of a bishop. Not even the weakness of a Pope is ever a justification to abandon the Catholic Church. The truth is this: you don’t leave Christ because of Judas. The Catholic Church is not built on the perfection of men. it is built on Christ Himself and sustained by the Eucharist. Those who truly understand and value the Eucharist do not walk away from it. My friend Joe Heschmeyer shared this testimony of conversion from protestantism with me from Catholic Answers Live today. I remember meeting this wonderful woman when I gave my talk in San Diego. She was open to a discussion afterward, but I could tell she was bothered by what I had shared. It clearly struck a chord, as she describes. But despite that outward appearance of rejection, it turned out that hearing about the Church Fathers catalyzed a process of considering the Catholic Faith that led to her conversion, and reception into this Church this year! Praise God! I know how she feels! Here is why I am sharing this clip: I have seen this pattern over and over again. This particular woman was quite mild, but I’ve known many people who sometimes violently reject anything that sounds Catholic. But it actually sows a seed, a question, and when they begin investigating that question, many of them end up becoming Catholic. Why? Because the Catholic Church is the Home of Truth, and whoever seeks Truth with all their heart will eventually find their way to Her, by God’s grace. The moral of the video? Always share the truth in love, and let the Holy Spirit take it where He wills. Pray for people. Fast for them. So much goes on we will never see. Sometimes God will show us some fruit a long time later. Sometimes He won’t. But we can trust that He is good, and always working. HE is the Great Converter! Pray for this wonderful woman.
