Here's my take on Poles. He held a Masterclass in fleecing the Panthers. He also fixed our salary cap problem. Brought in Sweat and Sweat is double teamed most of the time. He still got 5.5 sacks. The only blemish is continuing Flus which I can understand in giving him another year and hiring Waldron. Everyone wanted that guy. He didn't pan out. Claypool, Pittsburg knew he was a headcase and masterfully dealt him to the Bears. He was trash. But it might have been impossible for them to know the guy was nuts. He can't fix the entire OL in last year. He did what he could. I expect with 1 first rounder, 2 seconds and even more salary cap money. The OL maybe fixed. BTW, do you know of any GM in the NFL that bats .1000?? There are going to be hits and misses. Every single team has them. Give the man at least 1 more year to fix the team. The first year was a wash due to the mess the previous regime left him.
