I mean there WAS a time when Diamond Dave was super cool. I mean he walked around in a fur coat with no shirt on and beers tucked in to the inside pockets, and when he met you he'd offer you a beer.

I can’t think of a single Van Halen song where I stop and think “wow, now that lyric really made me think” After viewing that clip, DLR should dig up EVH’s grave and blow him for giving him a blessed life.

Dave needs to stop singing and go on a one man story time tour. Just Dave sitting for an hour telling stories and a 1/2 hour Q&A after. It’d be mostly BS,but you’d still say it’s entirely believable because he’s just that eccentric. Maybe team up with Rollins.

Dave should try acting or even stand-up comedy. He would probably be great in a science fiction or a monster movie.. his rockstar days were 30 40 50 years ago, at one time he was a great front man.

Definitely more of a team effort in my opinion. Without Eddie, he wouldn't even be famous. Makes sense why they part ways multiple times.

What a jerk. Classic case of a narcissistic personality. Deep down he knows with EVH, he wouldn’t be where he is today. Unfortunately he’s a washed up vocalist who shows no grace for the great career he had with the band. Instead it’s all about him. Which is why he left VH. BTW, Sammy was a better singer.
