Seeing Ange back at Lakeside Stadium, smiling and reconnecting with familiar faces, meant a great deal to everyone at the club. The timing made it even more special, coming only weeks after South captured its first national league trophy in 26 years. An emotional return. Back where it all started.

Last week, we said goodbye to our beautiful Nisha. She came to us as a rescue, after being found as a stray, and became a deeply loved part of our family, and part of the music too, appearing quietly in so many of the cottage videos. Thank you to everyone who noticed her, asked about her, and loved her from afar. The music in the video is called “Nisha”, it's a melody we used to sing it to her at home during Covid lockdown, and I later recorded it on my album Solace. She was deeply loved. We miss her so much

She says helicopters were circling overhead, police swarmed her street, and a bullhorn ordered her to come out of the house. Anyone could call Lindsey Graham. It didn't matter who you were. He always called back, and he always brought it home for South Carolina. He was a mentor to us and to so many in our delegation. He had your back when you deserved it. He had a joke for every occasion. South Carolina lost a legend this weekend. Darline knows this legacy of constituent service better than anyone. We're supporting her as she finishes her brother's work.

This woman lived in this college house alone in the summer while she was in school still and everyone went home for break. She worked as a bartender and wouldn’t get home until late night most of the time. She came home from work and as she entered each room, she turned on the light. She slept in one of the attic bedrooms. The other room she was always nervous about and kept the door shut. She woke up in the morning and when she unlocked her bedroom door, she opened it to see the attic door open, the closet in that room was open too and it was clear someone was in there waiting, she could see the contents of the closet pushed aside. So while she slept, according to her whoever it was tried to open her door but couldn’t, so they left. Needless to say that the experience scared and she moved out until the other students came back the following semester. Is it possible it was one of the other roommates coming to get something from their room, would you automatically assume this was an intruder, wouldn’t the have just kicked down the door?

A woman born totally blind had a car wreck and saw for the first time in her life. Not from a hospital bed. From above it. Her name was Vicki. To her, vision was "unknown and unknowable." After the crash she found herself out of her body, looking down at the gurney in the emergency room. At first she was terrified, because she had no idea what seeing even was. Then she recognized the feel of her own long hair, and a ring her father had given her. The two things she had only ever known by touch. "I'm seeing it now. That's the ring. That's my hair. That's me." Her vision during the experience was 360 degrees. She could see in front, behind, left, right, up, and down, all at once. When Dr. Long told her the rest of us only see in a narrow field because of where our eyes sit, Vicki laughed at him. She had no idea sight could be that limited.
