The crowd at the Drive says it all!!! More than 5,000 fans witnessed our very own Nestory Irankunda make his FIFA World Cup debut and become the youngest Socceroo ever to score at a World Cup. A proud moment for South Australia. A special moment for Australian football.

I love facilitating authentic, powerful storytelling & Ange Postecoglou takes some beating. Just as Aussie actors, artists, etc took time to make a global mark, Ange will soon prove that an Aussie can be a world-class coach, and inspire a new generation. I'm biased, but I covered the Premier League & UEFA Champions League in Europe for 3 years & have dealt with/observed dozens of coaches from all over the globe. Ange is in the top, top echelon. It was an honour interviewing Ange & producing and directing the Football Belongs series, alongside Richard Bayliss & Ben Coonan for Optus Sport Ange spoke passionately about how football provided the connection he craved with his late father, while this clip also shows the kind of rousing speech Tottenham Hotspur players can expect. As Celtic Football Club, 横浜F･マリノス【公式𝕏】, Melbourne Victory, Brisbane Roar FC & South Melbourne FC fans will attest, #Spurs are in for an exhilaration ride. I have no doubt they will be rewarded for their bold decision to appoint the Aussie who, after a 27-year apprenticeship which included becoming "unemployable" in his home country at the midway point. If given the requisite backing by Spurs, Ange will rock their world.

This match against Chelsea, is my favourite Ange Postecoglou memory at Tottenham Hotspur. This was not just in regards to football, but also in regards to life. Watching Ange never back down from the Tottenham motto “Audere Est Facere” was a key changing point in my life. I learnt that, even when things don’t go your way or are seemingly impossible, you should never shy away from your true beliefs, or who/what made you. As Ange mentioned in the UEL final speech. At the top of the league, with 9 men, against one of our biggest rivals, Ange didn’t shy us away in a shell, he dared, and he did. He showed to us supporters a team that genuinely bleed Lilywhite, we hadn’t seen do that for many, many years. That’s why, after a 4-1 loss, Spurs were sent off to a standing ovation from the home support. This is why Ange means more than just football to me and so many others, he represents faith, confidence, and success. Gaffer.

This week at the 85th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was very special for me! After singing with Hank Williams, Jr. earlier in the week, I was invited to join Nickelback onstage at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip to sing Rockstar! Great to be back here riding my Harley-Davidson in the Black Hills of South Dakota and singing onstage with such great artists. What a trip!

Some Ibos will come for the head of Cubana Chief Priest for saying the truth. “There is a lot of hunger in South-East.” “It is our brothers at home that give criminals information.” “Our people started k!lling the rich, so the rich stopped coming back home during festivities. That’s why I ran to Lagos to do my business.” And many more he said on this interview with BBC.

After nearly two seasons lost to injury, Derrick Rose made his return at the 2014 Team USA Basketball Showcase. I remember this being such a big moment. Those two years felt like forever waiting for our MVP to get back on the court. Seeing him back in a competitive setting felt different. It was a reminder that after all the adversity, he could still hang with the best.

When Shane Warne came out of ODI retirement for tsunami relief in 2005, it was a special moment. Returning to the field after his 2002 shoulder injury at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Warne donned his bowling cap in an ODI for the first time in years and was greeted with a massive ovation from his home crowd. #FlashbackFriday

ALERT: Dog fetches the police and leads them back to his home, where cops find the dog's owner lying on the floor of the garage after he fell. Leawood Police Department officers in Kansas noticed a dog in the middle of the street with no owner in sight, and it started barking at them. An officer approached the pup and said, "Hi, why don’t you go on back home?" The officers followed the dog back to its home, where police say the owner had fallen and been on the ground for more than 3 hours. "Thanks to the resident’s loyal companion, our officer was able to find them and get them the help they needed… The resident was treated by medical personnel and is now recovering safely at home."

Some great highlights from our recent show at Temple Newsam. “The New Fellas” was very much a moment in time for us, written in the moment and for the moment. So to be able to play it, and to see people still connect with it 20 years on meant a great deal to us. Thankyou all 🩷
