I made a second version! This time, I improved the opening to make it more eye-catching, added extra padding to the character shots so the video won’t get cropped across different social platforms, and updated the prompt into English. I also improved the canvas workflow. Previously, I had to generate multiple images and videos one by one, then pick the best results. Now the canvas supports generating multiple results in a single run, which has greatly improved my workflow efficiency. Now you only need to swap the image, and the same video prompt can still produce great results. Which anime cosplay should I make next? Full workflow and prompts:

Time's pausing when not providing inputs, and ramping up speed the more queued commands you input so you can just spam actions without having to wait for the animations to finish, or click slowly to enjoy the animations. Oh and ignore the spinning portraits, i somewhy added that when programming on weed.

I need to revisit something like this once I know rigging a little better. The gun seems strange and even silly without being able to communicate the really gestural ideas I had for the deploy and reload animations. Better luck next time!

⚽ Day 41 of building my soccer game solo in Unreal Engine 5. Tonight we added better animation logic to the drag back turn. The sole of the foot rolls the ball back, the ball loses momentum, then a notify state kicks it forward with physics enabled for a more realistic feel. Up next: I'll be developing the same logic for normal dribbling animations, then more turns. I'll need to begin blending animations together which has proved to be quite difficult! #indiedev #gamedev #soccer #football #unrealengine
