Direct HW capture via Retrotink. This is insane level of quality... 😭

Dreamcast was a wonderful console to work on. Too bad it wasn't that successful.

This makes me realize how versatile the Dreamcast is compared to the PlayStation 1 Move your cat game To the DC I imagine it can't be too complicated

Moving my cat game (and Yume Nikki PS) to Dreamcast will be somewhat complicated because of fixed point use on PS1 and different way of handling models/textures. So for now I'll mostly do independent experiments on Dreamcast and then I'll see how it goes. :)

That is lovely dude. Literally looks like a Demo of upcoming Dreamcast game. Bravo!

The neko boy looks so clean here c:

This is his HD/Vulkan version! The Dreamcast is powerful enough to pull it off easily. :D

Beautiful

This looks so clean!

Nice that's awesome

Amazing work in just 3 days—congratulations.

Superb!!! Keep up the good work! Greettings from Brazil

@falco_girgis

That's beautiful.

Wow love it

That’s a big upgrade. See what the power vr2 can really do.

amazing

Better than psx?

It outshines PS1 graphics capabilities in every way possible... 😅 But it also came out 4 years later... But yeah, it can do floats, it can do perspective correct textures, has 8x more VRAM, has 8x more RAM, can do per-pixel fog and AA, can handle much bigger poly counts etc.

Great Job 👍🏻

Increíble hermano! Felicitaciones. Y gracias, por gente como vos tenemos el privilegio de seguir disfrutando nuestra querida Dreamcast con nuevo material. 🍥🌀💪🏼

3 days,!??

PowerVR2 is a beast ❤️ well done pushing it ! Keep it up plz

PEAK

This is amazing.

Amazing stuff!!

Impresive 👌👏👏

Very good quality, I want more !

vertex colors change how the models sit on screen more than the raw geometry does

Sweet!

What software are you using to make this happen?

Coding in Vim, compiling with GCC an using KallistiOS as the SDK.

Dreams never die

Are you writing it to a disc or testing on a USB flash drive?

Uploading directly from my PC to Dreamcast via Ethernet with Broadband Adapter. :D

Holy shit!

is this room from moon?

Yeah. 3D recreation of it that I modelled myself. :)

What's your project?
