In my opinion, Tarris Reed Jr. (UConn) would be the most seamless fit for the Knicks in the 2026 NBA Draft. The Knicks have the 24th & 31st pick and have more than enough access to target Reed Jr on the board. There’s even potential for them to move back from 24, acquire more draft capital and still get Reed Jr. Here’s why I love the fit. From a position of need standpoint, he’s a legitimate plug and play NBA Center who can log 10-15 minutes right away. There’s a possibility that the Knicks lose both Mitchell Robinson and Ariel Hukporti to free agency. Reed Jr. comes from a winning program in UConn played for winning obsessed coach in Dan Hurley played in the Big East, which aligns with the Knicks core mentality. In Matchups vs Lottery prospects in the tournament, there were legitimate times where he was the most productive player on the floor. Reed Jr. is a throwback big, bodies dudes in the paint, good touch around the rim. Nice bag that can only improve. UConn is the farthest thing from a iso offense, but Reed jr, bailed them out time and time again with post touches, a look the Knicks don’t really feature and can open up more diversity in their offense. From a scheme standpoint, the Knicks could actually play some high low concepts with Towns and Reed Jr. In addition, Reed Jr, projects to be a really good rebounder and will end possessions on defense and extend possessions on offense. The main concern for me is his versatility on defense, as it relates to being switchable on the perimeter. Day 1? Won’t be anywhere near what Mitch’s ability on film. Mitch is a guy that blocked Kevin Durant on the perimeter, closed out to the whole Boston Celtics team on one possession in game 6, and got a hand up on Wemby at the end of Game 2 in the NBA Finals. Simply put, if the Knicks lose Mitchell Robinson, they cannot replace him. However, I think Reed jr. will adapt to the needs of the NBA game in his own way, which will make him at least serviceable when playing out of drop coverage. There’s also the reality that Reed jr. isn’t a modern day stretch big that’s going to space the floor. While It’s not an accomplishment, I do think he has some more potential than Robinson/Hukporti to step out in space and knock one down eventually. So I took time off and gave my past a good hard look. Then I started. I built the F4 Framework to bridge the G.A.P. (Goals, Accountability, Process). It’s the operating system I used to get my life back, and it’s what I now install for several people who were feeling that missing "thing". I like to call them "Legends." The 4 Pillars of a Legend: Fitness: The "Show Up" principle. Focus: The discipline of strategic stillness. Fraternity: Managing your 150 (Dunbar’s Number). Finance: Making money a servant, not a master. I don’t do "Country Club" coaching. No fluff. No smoke. No "shoulds." On the second day of recruiting myths… Myth #2: “The name on the front of your jersey doesn’t matter.” There is some truth here. But people usually say this to make you feel better if you’re not on a team in the “recruiting bubble.” And yes of course there are always outliers. If you’re Montana Fouts, you could show up playing for the Butterflies and coaches would still be lined up drooling at the fence. But for most of us? The jersey does matter. Especially if you don’t have true 5-star size or can’t blow people away with elite metrics. I know this because I’ve been on both sides of it. Same player. Same work ethic. Completely different response from coaches. Why does the jersey matter more than people admit? First impressions. If a coach doesn’t recognize your club as one that consistently produces players at their level, you have to overwhelm them with performance and numbers just to get the same look. What matters even more than the jersey name is the coach attached to it. My last club, Rising, was brand new. But my coach, Steve Appel, had a lot of successful former players at top 25 programs. Coaches knew him. Trusted him. We were at the best fields and no one cared what was on the front of our jerseys. At my first tournament with that team, I saw more college coaches than I had in my entire recruiting journey before that. It’s true. College coaches aren’t recruiting a jersey. They’re recruiting you. But your jersey affects: •what fields you play on •who stops to watch •how risky you look on paper A well-known club with proven coaches comes with built-in credibility. Can you get recruited without that? Yes. I did. But if you’ve read my book, you know how many things had to line up for that to happen. So is there truth to this myth? Yes. But most of the time, when people say it, they’re trying to protect you from a harder truth: Recruiting isn’t just about how good you are. It’s also about who’s willing to vouch for you. And your jersey is a powerful indicator of that before a coach sees you even pick up a ball. #RecruitingRules Rule #6: The lifeblood of recruiting is relationships. This is HERO stuff RIGHT HERE! Watch this bodycam and tell me cops don’t matter. Atlanta officers hear a baby crying inside a windowless trailer. It’s 97 degrees. No AC. Junk everywhere. They don’t form a circle and talk about feelings. They grab bolt cutters and a cinder block and force the door. Out come a 4-year-old and an 11-month-old. Alive. Crying. Safe. The woman who locked them in there met their mama through a Facebook mom group. Played the helpful babysitter for a year. Built trust. Then took the girls and disappeared. Same woman was already charged in Alabama in 2021 for walking off with a 4-day-old baby under almost identical circumstances. She had an outstanding warrant. Still got access to more children. This is the part that should wake every parent up. Predators don’t always look like monsters. Sometimes they show up in the comments section of a mom group offering free babysitting and “support.” I’m a dad of two little boys. This video hits different. Those officers ran toward the sound of a crying baby in a metal box. That’s the job. That’s what good policing looks like when the stakes are real. Protect your kids. Vet the people around them. And stop pretending the men with the bolt cutters are the problem.

Dreams do come true but here’s the real truth most people don’t talk about: What are you willing to give up to make your dreams come true? I grew up in the projects where dreams didn’t feel real. Life was about surviving, not dreaming. Then one day everything changed when a teacher and a coach both told me, “You can become whatever you want if you’re willing to be different.” That moment shifted my mindset forever. So to every young person coming up this is the same thing I told the guys I grew up with: I wasn’t better than you. I just made better decisions and real sacrifices for the betterment of my family and my future. Success isn’t luck. It’s discipline, faith, and doing the hard things when nobody is watching. I pray my life and testimony inspire kids coming from hard situations to believe bigger, work harder, and turn what looks like nothing into something great. George Carlin Was An American Hero. Here Was His Last Message, He Died 1 Week Later “Sooner or later the people in this country are going to realize the government does not give a f*** about them. Government doesn't care about you or your children or your rights or your welfare or your safety. It simply doesn't give a f*** about you. It's interested in its own power, that's the only thing, keeping it and expanding it wherever possible. Personally, when it comes to rights, I think one of two things is true. I think either we have unlimited rights or we have no rights at all. Personally, I lean toward unlimited rights. I feel for instance I have the right to do anything I please. But, if I do something you don't like, I think you have the right to kill me. So where you gonna find a fairer fucking deal than that? Boy everyone in this country is always running around yammering about their fucking rights. I have a right, you have no right, we have a right, they don't have a right. Folks, I hate to spoil your fun, but there's no such thing as rights, okay? They're imaginary. We made them up. Like the boogeyman. The three little pigs, Pinocchio, Mother Goose, shit like that. Rights are an idea, they're just imaginary. They're a cute idea, cute. But that's all, cute and fictional. But if you think you do have rights, let me ask you this. Where do they come from? People say, well, they come from God, they're God-given rights. Oh, fuck, here we go again. Personally, folks, I believe that if your rights came from God, he would have given you the right to some food every day, and he would have given you the right to a roof over your head. God would have been looking out for you. God would have been looking out for you. But let's say it's true. Let's say God gave us these rights. Why would he give us a certain number of rights? The Bill of Rights in this country has ten stipulations, okay? Ten rights. And apparently God was doing sloppy work that week because we've had to amend the Bill of Rights an additional 17 times. So God forgot a couple of things like slavery just fucking slipped his mind. But let's say, let's say God gave us the original 10. He gave the British 13. One of them is that, under its name, Islamist extremists and Muslim Brotherhood terrorists can become prime ministers or congressmen. In the Middle East, we in the UAE chose a different path, one that actually works. We built a system where people from democratic countries feel safer walking the streets of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where they enjoy more rights, better education for their children, and stronger healthcare than in democratic nations in the West. That does not make democracy bad. It simply means it suits you, not necessarily us. Because when democracy was tried in Gaza, it gave power to Hamas. In Egypt, it brought the Muslim Brotherhood. Chicago Bears: The Deep Ball Façade As a Chicago Bears truther, I gotta keep it 💯 There are many Bears fans posting “Amazing” out of the pocket deep ball highlights of Caleb Williams Obviously, we don’t see those kinds of throws everyday. It’s insane!! But deep ball playmaking isn’t new to Chicago. Nor is it the focal point of Ben Johnson’s offense. If the Bears are going to be great, we have to become more efficient from the pocket. Pass percentage must go up, time in pocket must come down. Living outside the pocket will hinder our ability to be efficient and to win a Super Bowl #1 Deep Ball was always there Justin Fields in 2023 had one of the most efficient deep balls in the league. Not only that, the majority of his deep balls came from the pocket which is what you want from your QB. As good as the Bears were as a whole last year, the deep ball was far more efficient in 2023. But living on the deep ball and living out the pocket comes with limitations. We have to focus on the fundamentals #2 Ben Johnson is the catalyst Similar to 2023, Bears offense in 2024 had explosive plays followed by inconsistent offense and inept situational football by the head coach Poor offensive line, poor offensive scheme, and inept head coach were the core issues. Ryan Poles thought QB was the main issue and then 2024 happened. We learned quick that it takes more than a talented QB to win football games. Ben Johnson has alleviated all of those concerns. He has made Bears offensive line the focal point! His scheme has been top of the league since he became OC in Detroit. And his situational football awareness far superior than Eberflus. Bears fans must recognize that Ben Johnson is the catalyst of the Bears offensive turnaround, and team success. Now give him what he needs! He wants 3 tight ends? Give it to him He wants more Luther Burden? Give it to him He wants more efficiency out of his QB? Let’s make that the focal point.. #3 Ben Johnson needs a point guard at QB Efficiency in the pocket, time to throw, and passing EPA are far more important to Ben Johnson’s offense than out of pocket deep balls. We need Caleb to be that killer still, but it’s the fundamentals that will allow Bears to take the next step. This offense doesn’t need a Michael Jordan at QB. Ben Johnson would much rather have an Isiah Thomas at QB because this offense has enough Bad Boys to get the job done. Feed the WRs! Get the ball out of your hands quicker! Allow deep ball to be the counter punch of the offense. #4 It’s all there.. The pre-snap awareness, post snap awareness, efficiency from pocket, and pass velocity all scream franchise QB. When you look at Caleb Williams in the pocket on short to intermediate passes, it looks effortless. The ball leaves his hand lightning quick, it’s placed where it’s supposed to be, and WR is able to make a play after the catch. We have to see more of this and it starts now. CW has to trust Ben Johnson’s offense and his WRs more. Conclusion: If we wanted a QB to scramble and throw deep balls, Justin Fields would still be a Chicago Bear What makes Caleb unique, is that he can be a hunter down the field but also has the upside to be a Drew Brees type of QB in the pocket. I rather see more clips of Caleb playing in rhythm and in the pocket , than deep bombs out the pocket. There will be struggles, but that’s ok. I much rather see our QB struggle making the right throws in OTAs than masking it with his gift as an out the pocket thrower.

Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu. Greetings. Day 4 of my corona status, has seen me assault, all day long, 3 loadfulls of government papers. I started at 6:30am (Saa kumi na mbiri, in our African languages, na nusu.) The corona virus, by domesticating me, is helping me to catch up with my paper work. The symptoms are more mild than yesterday. In the night, slight throbbing (enkuratima) in the ruhoorahoore area of the head. This is the part of the head that has a gap in children. Also, some slight roughness on the throat. Otherwise, I am even tempted to do my push-ups, but common sense reminds me not to disturb the bio-chemistry of the body where the war with the enemy (the virus) is going on with additional strains on the body. All the NRM cadres and followers should continue to understand the importance of robust health. I always avoid factors that can cause ill-health, not because I fear being sick but because I detest missing the struggle for Africa’s freedom. Our grand fathers’ generation (the founders of the ANC of South Africa in 1912, George Padamore, W.B. Dubois, Kabalega, etc.), our fathers’ generation (Nkurumah, Kenyatta, Nyerere, Mandela, etc.), our own generation (Samora Machel, Ngaraang, etc.), our children’s and grandchildren’s generations, are generations of the African anti- colonial resistance for Africa to survive and thrive. Our health is, therefore, a weapon in the fight against imperialism and all Africa’s enemies. You cannot fight when you are sick as well as you can fight when you are healthy. I am not sick in bed, but I have been house- confined, since Wednesday 7th when I had a confirmed corona-positive test. Consequently, I missed Heroes Day yesterday, where our daughter Nabbanja did a great job; I could not meet the guests I had invited from UAE and I have cancelled my plan to go to Kisozi tomorrow to supervise the half-yearly de-worming of my cattle. Therefore, health is not only wealth but also part of the weapons of the struggle. Afya ni utajiri na vile vile ni chombo cha mapambano ya kimapinduzi (part of the instruments of the revolutionary struggle). Otherwise, the Heroes Day went well. I thank the organizers and the Rt. Hon. Nabbanja. Our People are beginning to get the message of homestead incomes with ekibaro (cuura, aimar). It is dairy in the cattle corridor and coffee in upper Bulemeezi (Semuto etc.). I thank all the Ugandans that are wishing me a quick recovery. Maama Janet was tested on the 7th evening and all the tests were negative (rapid, PCR, etc.). We thank God for that.
