The Tesla Model 3/Y produced in the 2017-2024 timeframe all have just an air conditioning vent in the back. But it would be great to turn it into a smart screen that can watch movies, play games and other controls.

Better compare with Circuit Edition from Sega Saturn. The first version of Daytona USA was a total disaster

Compare the DC port with the arcade. Saturn was a joke for those must wanted Sega AAA arcade games. Hard to remember a ported Sega AAA game that didn't had issues.

When I heard Daytona USA was coming to the Sega Saturn, I sold all my other consoles and saved up for it. Finally got the Saturn and Daytona running at home—total mind-blow 🤯. Sure, it wasn’t quite arcade-perfect, but just being able to play it at home was enough. By the time Dreamcast came around, the port was almost flawless. Fun fact: Saturn was almost done as a 2D machine, but after seeing PlayStation’s 3D power, Sega tweaked it late—3D performance ended up a bit lacking. Irony is, the same Sega that pioneered 3D with Virtua Racing and Virtua Fighter thought consoles weren’t ready yet.

I’ve been playing games since the ’80s, but the most shocking graphics I ever experienced had to be Daytona USA. Running on Sega’s Model 2 hardware with smooth 60fps and high-resolution visuals — I didn’t know the specs back then, but I could instantly tell it looked on a completely different level from other games. And that iconic “Let’s go away!” from the opening? One line and I’m right back in the arcade. Daytona USA 2 was great too, but somehow I still prefer the original’s unique speed and atmosphere. Pretty sure everyone tried this at the arcade at least once, right? 🎮

When Gran Turismo first came out, I remember thinking, “Do we really need to drive real cars even in a game?” I was more into arcade racing games like Ridge Racer or Daytona USA because they were just more fun. But Gran Turismo completely changed my mind. (1/2)

The Sega Rally I’m talking about today feels completely different from on-road racing games. I really love the sliding physics. Predicting the course and starting your drift in advance feels amazing. The PC version was based on the Saturn version of Sega Rally, but the original arcade version is still the coolest. Have you played this game?
