Dean Wade is a very solid defender... 6'9, positionally versatile, deflection generator, elite shot contester. Guys simply have trouble scoring when he's in the vicinity. Does little things really well, tagging cutters, weakside rotations, etc. Glue guy.

Two things: 1) Extremely bizarre comment by Hoopsville/McHugh: "...even if the last championship, no disrespect, was a while back." IWU has a really successful program - regularly wins CCIW titles and goes deep in the NCAA tournament. Has good kids, does things the right way. Dave is taking a shot that the Titans have not won a national title since 1997. Why in the world would that fit here? Look at Ron Rose's face...sheesh. 2) Jackson Niego is a #whyd3 guy. IWU is lucky to have a bunch of guys like this every year.

Good morning! Two things on Matas Buzelis: 1) The 3PT shooting is perking up! 36.4% on 6.4 (!) attempts after taking 3.3 last year. 8.2 per 100 last year, 10.3 per 100 this year. He's logged 8 games w 10+ 3PAs this year, only did it once last year. 2) Statistically elite iso defender. 42 players have defended at least 100 iso attempts (like, the guy he's guarding actually shoots) -- Matas has allowed the lowest point total (81), eFG% (33.9), expected shot quality (38.6 eFG) and PPP mark (0.7) among that group. He still needs to get stronger -- guys get into his chest and move him a bit, and he allows a little too much cushion for my liking sometimes to potentially compensate for that -- but he mirrors well for a guy his size. I like that he's had to navigate a bunch of different player types this year. Those reps should be helpful.

Kentucky will have to move on to another C in the 2027 class after Obinna Ekezie Jr reclasses to 2026, and commits to Louisville. Obinna wasn’t just Kentucky’s #1 C, he was their #1 overall player. Things were going well enough they hadn’t offered another C’ in 2027, (til recently) So what’s next? Kentucky has made prior contact with the 4 C’s we’ll talk about today, but it might be too late to get in seriously with a couple of them. First up: (#11) 5⭐️ Paul Osaruyi. (AZ) 6’9 220lb. Breakdown: Has the highest ceiling of any of the bigs. A+ Motor/Athlete. Elite rebounder, always in the right position. Extremely versatile defender. Defends the perimeter, the paint, the rim. Very high defensive IQ. His offense is still coming along. He’s got good hands, he makes tough catches in traffic under the rim, he catches plenty of lobs, and he’s an elite rim runner who can catch and put the ball on the floor in the open court. Solid handle when not being pressured, but he doesn’t have the best footwork right now,’ so he’s limited in the post with the ball in his hands. Has a decent enough jumper he can face up, even pop out and knock one down, slips really well off screens into a push shot. But once the tools are sharpened, once he gets with some elite coaching, like I said could be the highest ceiling of all them. Very versatile offensive potential. Reclass was talked about early, still could be a possibility as well. Something to watch as Kentucky just recently extended an offer. John Lynch explains why the 49ers didn't address the offensive line earlier than the 7th round of the draft: "We we're able to do that with Connor Colby, but there were a number of times that we were interested in adding and it just didn't come our way. And you’ve gotta stay true to where you have guys graded, not take guys just to take them but to take guys that you're interested in at that point. And it just never really aligned. We were happy to add Colby. We think he's a really good scheme fit. Great thing about Iowa is they run a very similar, they run a lot of outside zones, so you get to see a guy like him do things that we do and he does them well. So, we’re happy to add that. But there were a number of times Kyle and I were talking about that at the end that just didn't align, one of those deals and you don't want to force things. So, it wasn't our time for that."

And one of the things he wants to do is freeze rents because he wants more affordable housing. So he's a complete idiot in terms of facts. The way to get more affordable housing is to build more housing. If supply massively increases and it exceeds demand, the price has to go down. It's proven again and again and again. And what rent control does or freezing of rent, it inhibits the building of new housing. Because who's going to build new housing when you can't make money off of it? Rent control is what produces the lack of affordable housing in the first place. So he sees what's the problem as the solution now. Now, is he a fool? No, he's a really bright guy. He's very well educated.”

Golfers... You have to be very careful when listening to tour players talk about their own feels & what they do during the golf swing Don't get me wrong, some are VERY good at explaining in detail what they are doing & feeling, but some don't actually have a clue. They are just VERY GOOD at golf & don't really know how they do it. This is a prime example where Tiger is saying he's not a "Spot Chipper", then on another video he says he likes hitting to a "Spot" So which one is it? Remember, these guys are ELITE at playing the game of golf & getting the ball in the hole in less shots than everyone else They are not always the best at accuratly articulating what they are really trying to do There was a video of Tiger a while back where he was saying the club head moves first in the golf swing... No it doesn't. There's a pressure shift into the trail side first... Tiger won with 4 different swings. He's just THAT GOOD We as coaches are the ones who explain things better than a tour pro. The tour pros job is to shoot low scores

Jason Tickled in the TICKLE CHAIR Next up on deck is Jason Tickless 🪶🪶🪶 Fetcon26 who is a baby bear that was brave enough to take a spin in my Tickle Chair. He saw the guys I demolished in my chair and still had the balls to jump in. You gotta have some BIG balls to do that, and he does. In fact, he got a little sassy with me in the beginning, but I got my ways of humbling guys REAL QUICK. I could tell that after I peeled of his drenched socks and dived into his soles that his feet were absolutely DRIPPING is sweat. Uh oh, is somebody nervous?? Good, he should be, because he's only at the beginning of a very long and BRUTAL punishment ahead of him. (I'm not kidding you when I say that this guy gets HUMBLED which you will see in the later upcoming parts)
