As if one coach is the only responsible for his success and for who he is in every aspect. Meanwhile, this was Carlos at age 10 in Murcia. Annamalai could stay with BJP, become the star campaigner + seat-sharing negotiator for NDA, and push hard to bag seats worthy of the 11.24% he earned in 2024. If the alliance is victorious and a coalition government is formed in 2026, I wouldn’t be surprised if Annamalai lands a bigger role within the party, possibly regional or even national. But this is highly unlikely to happen. Option 2 - Launching his own Tamil Nadu based political party! Annamalai also has the option of launching his own party and testing his strength in 2026 (my assessment: around 6% – 8%). He could even manage a few MLAs, and in a hung assembly, play kingmaker. By 2029, his party could align with BJP again and back PM Modi’s quest for a fourth term. Option 3 - Quitting politics! Annamalai also has the option of stepping away from politics altogether, choosing a peaceful life with his family. Reza Pahlavi, for all intents and purposes, does not owe us anything. His family built Iran from zero. When I say zero, I mean zero. A weak, fragmented Qajar state, one in which women could not leave the house without a man. One in which Iran’s internal affairs were completely controlled by outsiders. One in which foreign armies seized our lands to feed their troops while half our population died of famine. A country without an army, without national infrastructure, without sovereignty over its own resources. And I can go on, and on, and on. In return, we Iranians repaid their blood, sweat, and tears with one of the greatest treacheries imaginable in modern history. His grandfather, arguably one of the greatest men in Iran’s history, his tomb was levelled to the ground. His father was forced to leave the country he loved more than anything in the world. One could say it was not his illness that killed him, but the knife we put in his back, the betrayal of a nation he had dedicated his life to. Reza Pahlavi’s friends and family who remained in Iran were murdered, one by one, at the hands of the regime WE enabled. An entire generation around him was hunted, imprisoned, executed, or driven into exile. His sister and brother, unable to bear the weight of exile and the destruction of everything they had known, took their own lives. Reza Pahlavi has the money. He could have chosen a quiet life, a life of comfort and distance, far from the insults, the threats, the endless character assassination. Instead of spending more than four decades on this path, he could have lived for himself and his family, free of this burden. Instead, he chose responsibility. He had to be forced by the British to cut his delegation from 61 to 10 because the trip was paid for by the British, who were furious that he wanted to attend a virtual meeting in person! Malawians have a chance in September to either keep him at state house or look for a new pair of hands!

Sometimes I sit down and ask myself: what kind of metal was used to make Dr. Kizza Besigye? Here is a man who is financially secure, with investments, highly educated, a retired military officer, and married to an internationally respected wife. He has a family and every reason to choose a quiet life, yet he has never surrendered or stopped fighting for what he believes is the liberation of Uganda. From the day he declared that he would challenge his former friend for the presidency in 2001, he has faced countless political battles. He has survived death threats, rape allegations, repeated arrests, the loss of family members, and the loss of close friends in the struggle. Through it all, he has never given up. Truth be told, I even fear his level of resilience. What many people dismissed as “just another arrest” has, over nearly two years, turned into a life-threatening ordeal. Yet every time he appears before a judge, he still carries himself with remarkable courage. Looking at his actions, one gets the impression that he would rather lose his life than surrender his principles. Whether one agrees with his politics or not, very few people could endure what Dr. Besigye has endured. Many people, when faced with such pressure, would plead guilty for a lighter sentence or negotiate with those responsible for their arrest. He has chosen a different path. Personally, I know I would have surrendered long ago. We may never see another Besigye in our lifetime. People can debate his politics, but his endurance, conviction and willingness to sacrifice for what he believes are qualities that are undeniably rare. Even at his age, he continues to shake the most powerful tables May God keep you alive to witness the fulfillment of everything you believe in. May your faith, hope and perseverance be rewarded. A good strategist is one who transforms weaknesses into opportunities and threats into challenges. FORD was a movement converted into a political party, so was ODM. The AUC campaign should be converted into a political force to transform Kenya. Kenyans have experienced historical injustices where one section of the society has dominated the public service, political and economic landscape for 63 years. They are the modern day "colonial power". They feel entitled and use their politically acquired wealth to fight any president who ascends to the presidency who is not their own or who refuses to be used by them to secure ethnic exclusion of fellow Kenyans. This system has to be dismantled so that Kenya may be for all Kenyans. Raila needs to join Ruto and assist him dismantle this oppressive system.

They feel entitled and use their politically acquired wealth to fight any president who ascends to the presidency who is not their own or who refuses to be used by them to secure ethnic exclusion of fellow Kenyans. This system has to be dismantled so that Kenya may be for all Kenyans. Raila needs to join Ruto and assist him dismantle this oppressive system.

Many people tagged me in a viral video of this American man, who has been widely referred to as the "Mzungu Chokoraa," claiming that he had been abandoned and was living on the streets. After I shared the video, his wife reached out to me and requested that I visit him to understand the true situation. This evening, I met him and his family, and I learned that he is not homeless. He is a married man, a father of five children, and has been living with his family in Texas, USA. According to his family, he has bipolar disorder, and his condition became worse after the passing of his mother. He is currently under medical care and takes prescribed medication. The family explained that during some episodes of his illness, he may leave home and wander the streets. This has led many people to believe that he is homeless, which is not true. They also shared that he has a passion for recycling and environmental conservation, which is why he is sometimes seen collecting recyclable materials or around dumpsites. I would like to clarify to the general public that this man is not homeless. He has a loving family that cares deeply for him. When you see him on the streets, please do not judge or discriminate against him. Instead, treat him with dignity, kindness, and respect, knowing that he is living with a mental health condition. The family has also appealed to the public not to buy him alcohol or give him weed, as both can interfere with his prescribed medication and may seriously affect his health. Let us replace stigma with understanding and compassion. Mental health conditions can affect anyone, and those living with them deserve our support, respect, and humanity.
