Taxing the rich never works. The government has a spending problem, not a revenue problem. When they use “tax the rich” as an excuse to increase spending, and then the rich leave, they will not scale back spending. Instead, the burden shifts to the middle class, until everyone is equally poor and government corruption thrives. Somehow through all of this, the government officials all get rich.
