Traveling in Nepal is very inexpensive…… IF…….you never buy a beer or a western coffee. These two items are the most expensive items in Nepal. Often times the price of a beer is more than the price of my hotel room! A coffee is more expensive than seeing the new Spiderman movie with popcorn! So……you can travel in Nepal on a shoe string budget, but the beers and coffee will break the bank.

This guy bought a $400 Mac mini and walked into a coffee shop with $2,100 for installing an AI agent that never touches the internet. I had to rewatch this because the pitch is almost too simple. He shows up, plugs in the Mac mini, installs a local AI agent running entirely through Ollama, done in under an hour. Zero cloud dependency, no API bills, no monthly charges bleeding the client dry. When I play arcade games at home, I could just set them to free play, but I actually prefer inserting coins myself. The sound of the coin rolling in and the credit counter going up is a huge part of the experience for me. It really brings back the feeling of being in an arcade back then. That’s why I even use an old cigarette ashtray as a coin holder. At first, I bought a chair that looked similar to an arcade stool, but the height felt strangely uncomfortable. So I ended up ordering actual Japanese arcade stools from a company in Japan, and the height is just perfect👌 Once you own an arcade cabinet, collecting little accessories like that becomes part of the fun too. And when you hang game posters on the wall, the whole atmosphere becomes incredible😆

Someone explain to me, like a 5-year old, why this simple point that exams are an economic problem still confuses Kenyans. After Finance Bill, after the #GatekeepingKE problem with exams at Kenya school of law, you still don't understand? Is it that you don't understand or you don't WANT to understand? Kenyans died for protesting against the economic mismanagement for two years in a row and you are still confused to hear that that exams are not an 8.4.4 problem but an economic one? People are selling their land to bribe to enter lower level entry jobs in the police or KDF, and you still think Kenyans are nervous about grades? Your grandparents were deliberately failed in exams by the British during colonial times so that Africans don't enter the higher jobs reserved for Europeans, and you still think exams is an 8.4.4 problem? This is an independent coffee shop this morning in Camden Passage, Islington. A perfect location, beautifully done inside, friendly service from the actual owner and yet there’s only me and one other person here. The big chains like Starbucks etc are rammed with people. So next time you moan there are only awful chain coffee shops everywhere, giving terrible service from staff who don’t care and no independents, look at yourself and where you spend your money.

I went downstairs for a coffee at my apartment in Abu Dhabi and there are 200 people downstairs who have been waiting here for over five hours to buy apartments Never in my life have I seen IRL real estate demand like this I looked into it and as an American you need a 40% down payment for homes here So if you buy a one-bedroom apartment that costs $250,000, you have to give $120,000 to get the remainder on a loan To get that loan you need to keep $10,000 in your bank for three months which isn't too hard to do It's actually like a crypto bro's dream to be able to get a loan like that because in America to get a loan as someone who has stupid crypto income is basically impossible Does anyone want to split an apartment with me? you cant be smelly

Today is Chihiro's birthday! Someone who keeps careful track of everyone else's information, yet would probably forget her own birthday without noticing. The kind of person who sits alone in front of a server in the early hours of the morning, finishes what needs to be done, and wraps it all up with a can of coffee from a vending machine. She talks plenty, but rarely about herself. Today might be a good day for Sensei to be the one to show up with a coffee in hand.
