Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, Albania has supported Ukraine in our struggle for freedom and territorial integrity. During the meeting with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama Edi Rama we signed the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between Ukraine and Albania. This document will help to strengthen our cooperation with Albania and Ukraine's position in the Balkans. Today we also discussed Ukraine's defense needs and potential joint arms production. We are grateful to the Albanian government and people. We will never forget Albanian society's warm attitude toward Ukrainians.

According to her, the first cluster of negotiations could open before 30 June (during Cyprus’s presidency), while the remaining five clusters would open in July. Previously, the process had been blocked by Viktor Orbán.
