The difficulty is just different. You get one out in cricket. One mistake and you are done. Baseball batters get multiple attempts. Cricket requires a focus and discipline that isn't as needed in baseball.

Hitting a baseball is incredibly difficult n nothing probably comes close to it. Cricket tests diff set of skills. Any prof sport is not easy to master. Hitting ball is easier in Tennis due to bigger racket but that doesn't make game any easier. Lets appreciate n enjoy all sports

Cricket is a technical ball sport like baseball, but to compare the two is fairly moot. You can view them like F1 to NASCAR; both require great drivers but are very different in specific technicalities. Snooker vs 9-Ball is another comparison.
