@rg3andtheones @whisperingoaksp I’m not playing any games, I’m retired. You have a free invite to come on the show and discuss. Face to face. I know where all your bodies are buried Jay. Don’t play with me.

@Coach_JayGruden @rg3andtheones @whisperingoaksp Was one of your biggest fans man, but the years of not taking accountability is tiresome. At some point it isn’t always someone else’s fault.

@Coach_JayGruden @rg3andtheones @whisperingoaksp RGIII you’re not a victim here, you just didn’t cut the mustard guy. Not every QB is going to be a career starter. I see you complaining a lot but Kirk Cousins did just fine.

@Coach_JayGruden @rg3andtheones @whisperingoaksp I doubt very seriously @Coach_JayGruden told Robert to get on national TV and throw his teammates under the bus. Come on now.. he probably told him to do it, but in a more private manner

That version of events is far from accurate, Robert. Your perspective seems to be completely skewed. Throughout that entire offseason - in fact, during your entire tenure - you were a divisive presence. Remember “All in For Week 1”? When you started a campaign to force your way back on to the field pushing past the medical staffs plan for you? But digress. I Remember the dismal performance against the Bucs, 27-7. Coming off a bye week, you managed a paltry 23 out of 32 for 207 yards, with 1 TD and 2 picks, not to mention taking 6 sacks. That's a QBR of 73.3. And yet, there you were, standing at the podium after the team plummeted to a disheartening 3-7 record, audaciously comparing yourself to the likes of Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers. Some may see that as a mistake, but for you, it was par for the course. You claimed, “If you want to look at the good teams in this league and the great quarterbacks, the Peytons and the Aaron Rodgers, those guys don’t play well if their guys don’t play well.” Tone Deaf, and absolutely no self awareness. It was, at its core, another in a long line of back-handed, self-aggrandizing statements you routinely made back then. You loved the spotlight back then, (as you do now) You were treated unfairly, sure, but no more so than any other players. That's the crux of the matter. You've always carried yourself as though you were above your teammates. You never unified the team; that's just the hard truth. Your current demeanor as a commentator only further highlights the egocentric attitude you had then and continue to have now.
