This is fun to watch. These are rounds played by Arccos Golf users in the USA over the last 12 months. Neat to see how things shift and move based on weather/seasons. MANY of these dots represent more than one round of golf. If multiple Arccos users played on the same day at the same course, there is only one dot representing that. I'll put together a world map to see all the international rounds as well! (Use code DATALOU15 to save 15% on Arccos)

The 5th hole at New South Wales Golf Club near Sydney. Quite simply one of the world’s greatest golf holes. Sometimes you dream of playing a golf hole and it doesn’t quite meet expectations. This one exceeds them. The tee shot is truly thrilling. You are trying to hit blind over the hill in the distance. Death on the left, not much better on the right. But get over and you can reach the par 5 in 2 easily. As you peak the hill, you get one of the great reveals in all of golf. Truly breathtaking. A golf hole worth flying across the world for.

This shot is INSANE. It is WAY better than Cam Smith’s putt around the road hole bunker. This is Riccardo Fantinelli from Princeton Men’s golf on the 17th hole at St Andrews Jubilee course. We are here for the St Andrews Collegiate Golf tournament. I was standing next to him for this shot. Pretty cool to have a front row seat for this one. He was about 90 feet from the hole if you are keeping score at home.

“The Pit” The famous 13th hole at North Berwick is simply one of the most unique golf holes in the world. An old stone wall intersects the golf hole, leading to some of the most fun golf shots you will have. It’s a hazard you just don’t ever see. It doesn’t hurt that it sits right on the sea and it’s as beautiful as it gets. The ending stretch at North Berwick is my favorite in the world.

There are only ~300 members of Augusta National Golf Club. Warren Buffett is one. He doesn’t go to many Masters ans says he’s the “highest handicap member” at the course (his best round is 89). Bill Gates is another member and Buffett lost $5,500 when Gates hit a hole-in-one.

Additional security measures are being deployed to protect Trump, even on the golf course, according to the Telegraph. “Mr Trump’s team deployed an additional security measure in the form of a black-clad, reinforced golf cart,” said the Telegraph while reporting on Trump’s outing at Trump Turnberry in South Ayrshire. “From those photos, that is 100 per cent armored. The windscreen is a giveaway, as are the side panels, doors, and the large panel at the rear above the load tray,” said one car armor expert. Golf Force One is reportedly a Polaris Ranger XP which followed Trump around the course.

Well, this may be the most epic Hole in One you could get. At Ardfin, my good friend Tom (Metairie Club Champion) got a hole in one on the 12th hole. The first one ever! His prize? A bottle of Jura Whiskey kept just for this moment, inscribed with the golf hole. Tom is the only person on earth to have this bottle. With the number of rounds at Ardfin, it may always be the only one ever. It was presented by the GM Peter. What a classy move by a classy place. Just a magical day.
