Death at every corner. You can die while doing ordinary things in this country. A young man died after being electrocuted by a live wire dangling from an electric pole while pushing his scooter in the rain near Commercial Street. This is in the heart of Bengaluru,a shopping hub.

First remove all shops & vendors operating on footpaths illegally on commercial street. That'll solve half of the problem, then atleast there'll be space for BESCOM repair vehicles to reach such spots & correct the problem ✌

Crumbling infrastructure Limited resources Failing administration Irresponsive politicians Unempathetic civil servants Zero value for human lives One has to be lucky to be back in home once he/she leaves the house #pathetic #hellhole

@MahadevaiahMy How many BESCOM employees were given the death penalty for negligence? Now follow the money - a bunch of advocates and BESCOM employees will extract max compensation from taxpayers kitty and share the spoils among themselves.

A couple of days ago I was in a building where the courtyard had metal sheds on which they had ceiling fans running. It was raining heavily and I just didn't feel that the setup was safe. I mean no one points out these things or what? Govt maybe at fault but people also are no less. No one wants to take any responsibility or civic duty. I am sure someone must have seen the wire dangling sometime and just didnt bother to get it checked or felt that it maybe live. People here wont pick a paper if its 1 cm away from their house boundary. When this is the attitude of nation this is the result. Also language and other wars makes people feel unwanted. No one cares about another hence everyone has attitude of why should I care.

We are enjoying the fruits of democracy, the so called greatest governance system in the world because this is happening right under the nose of elected representatives. It's amazing how open distribution boxes at body height are considered normal in India.

In India, thank God everyday before you go to sleep for surviving the day. There are death traps everywhere...so everyday you live, is a lottery.

This is a criminal negligence. However, those involved will get away as usual. The system gives them complete impunity from irresponsible acts like these. Such is the state of public infra and laws in India..

only solution is this. No Court.. No Law.

Root cause is Indian culture? How? Compulsion to marriage and having kids. Then the population explosion followed by ruthless fight to survive and grow. Zero economic, civic and all possible senses to plan life. The only unknown non-existent god beliefs are life support systems.

Pay all ur tax on time folks, so that state and Central gov can work so efficiently. Carelessness at its peak everywhere in India. Now point fingers at each other, suspend a few low hanging labours and then everyone every news and every responsibility will RIP ➿ ♾️
