What’s the advantage of this above cmd+shift+f? I think this works fine if you know you won’t have alot of results but in a large codebase I think I’d still prefer cmd+shift+f for a quicker overview 🫣

Depends how you work - this is much faster to preview for a quick find, and then I'll use the sidebar for more control See this example - I think the quick search gives better context, and it also bubbles the open tabs results to the top

Can't it 'just' open the search results in editor as the normal search ? Anyway, make commits small and commit often. So I need the sidebar for vcs constantly :).

And I felt like I'd just barely mastered all the keyboard shortcuts to navigate the Find sidebar and browsing/focusing through the results (it's quite the finger tango)

I have been using this feature since they launched it in beta, totally game changer workflow now. Now I have one less reason to learn vim.
