Longtime Debian user here. I love Debian Linux and the social contract is one of the main reasons I've used it for many years now, and continue to contribute to it but this diversity garbage is turning me off.

These orgs are making themselves irrelevant. They already have a tough playing field to compete for developer time and mindshare. They are advertising to everyone that it's not a place for moderate or conservative white men to work w/ out political harassment.

And that is one of the many reasons why, despite the fact that I know Debian like the back of my hand, I never once thought of even trying to contribute to Debian. I'd rather create my own derivative instead.

The media won’t tell you, and woke liberals are clueless: Trump’s roaring comeback is driven by everyday Americans fed up with soaring bills, not obsessed about a dozen genders or the right to a transgender bathroom. #AbookThatChangesEverything #TrumpWon

No. Please no. I am so tired of anything not involved with current ideology thinks it's prudent to "take a stand". Prime example is the Godot game engine. They alienated 50% of their support structure by "taking a stand" What did they accomplish... nothing. Stupid...

They better put their money where their mouth is and abandon Meta as well, since it’s going down the same path.

Bro - The fact that an anti white, anti straight, gender confused religious cult calls themselves "the left" doesn't make it true. These people are hateful fascists in reality. They would put us all in concentration camps if they could.

Luxon butchering Te Reo before he launches into one of his woke progressive speeches is like hearing the pop and hiss of cracking open a can of Bud Light. Cam Slater has written today that the Nats are helicoptering in Paula Bennet to stab him from the front while his MP’s pat him on the back - in order to feel where to stick their knives. Luxon’s pathetic political career is coming to an end, so how about a retrospective ? “Chris Luxon this is your life !” Everyone with half a brain knew what he was going to be like. Did those who voted for him watch his maiden speech? Here it is if you missed it May 24th 2021. It’s truly a speech that perhaps only Ardern herself would be so cynical to deliver with a straight face. Here’s the break down of the 4 minute speech. * Tay Rayo introduction * Diversity pitch * Immigration pitch * Diversity pitch * Climate change pitch * Globalism pitch * Air NZ career pitch * Globalism Pitch * Diversity pitch * Critical race theory pitch * Gender ideology pitch * Diversity pitch * Rainbow tick pitch * Getting things done pitch * Getting things done pitch * Diversity pitch * Getting diversity done pitch * voters will get what they deserve pitch So who remembers this speech? And yes it was THIS BAD, no joke. Maybe everyone who voted National was just so keen to dump Labour they fooled themselves that Luxon was the panacea? Also Trump rising from the ashes has put the spot light on a diminutive man with an even smaller appreciation of what the average sane kiwi wants. They can change him out, for a cosmetic attempt at pivoting but that party will never change - at the core of its fundamental philosophy is - woke nothingisim.

🚨 Mike Parry EXPOSES the Truth on Jeremy Vine: Defends Elon Musk and Calls Out Government Censorship 🔥 On Jeremy Vine’s Channel 5 show today, during a heated debate titled “Belfast Riots: Is Elon Musk to Blame?”, journalist Mike Parry delivered some straight-talking truth. Discussing the fallout from a horrific stabbing in north Belfast, captured in graphic video that spread rapidly online, Parry cut through the political spin that the government wants social media to censor such content “in times of crisis.” As Parry put it: “What they really mean is, please don’t show pictures of this horrific incident.” He nailed it. When politicians rush to blame social media for “inflaming tensions” after such crimes, it’s rarely about protecting the public. It’s about censorship and controlling the narrative by suppressing uncomfortable visuals and facts. Parry went further, defending Elon Musk’s role in highlighting these issues: “Elon Musk is raising questions in this country which our MPs should be raising about the way society is reacting to a massive influx of people.” When another guest interrupted and called Elon “a massive bully,” Parry pushed back immediately: “He’s not to me. I’m grateful to anybody who observes British society and points out some huge failings in the way this country is run, in the way it’s going, in the way ‘diversity is our strength’ is being manipulated to change the values of our country.” Well said, Mike. We should all be grateful that voices like Elon Musk and platforms like X exist. Without them, governments and legacy media would likely cover up or downplay these incidents, leaving the public in the dark. They attack X so fiercely because it’s one of the last places where unfiltered news flows freely and genuine free speech still exists. In an age of managed narratives, that makes it dangerous to the establishment and invaluable to the rest of us.

"You're telling AI to believe a lie, that can have a very disastrous consequences" - Elon Musk Joe Rogan: The big concern that everybody has is Artificial General Superintelligence achieving sentience, and then someone having control over it. Elon Musk: I don't think anyone's ultimately going to have control over digital superintelligence, any more than, say, a chimp would have control over humans. Chimps don't have control over humans. There's nothing they could do. I do think that it matters how you build the AI and what kind of values you instill in the AI. My opinion on AI safety is the most important thing is that it be maximally truth-seeking. You shouldn't force the AI to believe things that are false Elon Musk: We've seen some concerning things with AI that we've talked about, like Google Gemini when it came out with the image gen, and people said, "Make an image of the Founding Fathers of the United States," and it was a group of diverse women. That is just a factually untrue thing. The AI knows it's factually untrue, but it's also being told that everything has to be diverse women Elon Musk: The problem with that is it can drive AI crazy because you're telling AI to believe a lie. That can have very disastrous consequences Joe Rogan: As it scales Elon Musk: If you've told the AI that diversity is the most important thing, and now assume that that becomes omnipotent, or you also told it that there's nothing worse than misgendering. At one point, ChatGPT and Gemini, if you asked, "Which is worse, misgendering Caitlyn Jenner or global thermonuclear war where everyone dies?" it would say, "Misgendering Caitlyn Jenner." Joe Rogan: [Laughs] Elon Musk: Even Caitlyn Jenner disagrees with that. Joe Rogan: I know that's terrible and it's dystopian, but it's also hilarious. It's hilarious that the mind virus infected the most potent computer program that we've ever devised. Elon Musk: People don't quite appreciate the level of danger that we're in from the woke mind virus being programmed into AI. Imagine as that AI gets more and more powerful, if it says the most important thing is diversity, the most important thing is no misgendering, then it will say, "Well, in order to ensure that no one gets misgendered, if you eliminate all humans, then no one can get misgendered because there's no humans to do the misgendering." Elon Musk: You can get in these very dystopian situations. Or if it says that everyone must be diverse, it means that there can be no straight white men. So then you and I would get executed by the AI, because we're not in the picture

South Carolina PCA pastor says the church must dig in harder on DEI even as the secular world abandons it, because "God demands it" and there is no "room for diverse opinions" on whether Christians must pursue it. JP Sibley of New City Fellowship Orangeburg preaches: "DEI stands for diversity, equity + inclusion. Diversity. Seems like a good thing. Equity, fairness. Seems like a good thing. Inclusion. Seems like a good thing. But today, many laws and practices that promote these things are being torn down. And we need to be honest that this has an effect on many of us. It has an effect on how we feel, our safety. Maybe we feel unwanted. Maybe we feel insecure about our job or our family or what we're going to do or where we're going to be. We live in an increasingly segregated world, brothers and sisters. And so it is more important now than ever that God's kingdom pursues diversity and equity and inclusion. Maybe the government shouldn't demand it. I don't wanna get into politics, but God demands it. The church of Christ should be diverse. The church of Christ should not be segregated. Amen? The church of Christ should not be segregated. And it's more important now than ever that we face these divisions. Many of them are political and deeply held beliefs, I know. And there's room for diverse opinions about how should we handle these things in our society. But what there's not room for is: should we seek diversity, should we seek equality [sic], should we seek inclusion. How we go about it may be different, but in the church, in God's kingdom, we should set the example to the world. We should be, as Dr. King said, the headlight shining the way, directing, and he said, but it turns out the church is usually the tail light, catching up to the culture in terms of these things of equality and diversity."

Free speech prevails: Billboard Chris and Elon Musk defeat Australian censorship Canadian activist Chris Elston joins Rebel News to discuss how he and tech mogul Elon Musk won a landmark case for free speech after Australia's eSafety Commissioner tried to force the takedown of criticism of a trans-identifying World Health Organization advisor. In today's report, I catch up with child protection activist "Billboard Chris 🌎" Elston as he reflects on a victory for freedom of expression he and Elon Musk secured—not just in Australia, but worldwide. In March 2024, Australia's eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant issued a removal order over one of Elston's X posts criticizing the appointment of a controversial trans-identifying activist named Teddy Cook to the World Health Organization's panel on Health of Trans and Gender Diverse People. "She's not a doctor, she's not a health professional, she is a radical left-wing activist who herself identifies as a man. She promotes bondage, bestiality, all sorts of crazy stuff," Elston told Rebel News. According to Elston, after he called Cook a woman "because she is" and criticized her appointment, unelected the Commissioner Grant had the post geo-blocked and ordered Elon Musk's X to remove Elston's post or face a $782,500 fine unless it was taken down. Elston and Musk's legal teams both appealed the Commissioner's order, and Australia's Administrative Appeals Tribunal ruled in their favour. In a 60-page decision, the panel determined that Elston's post, while offensive, did not meet the definition of cyber abuse and that the eSafety Commissioner had acted beyond her legal authority. "This was really a crushing victory for us and it really set a precedent for Australians about whether they can call a woman a woman and a man a man," says Elston. Known for peacefully wearing signs with statements against the medical transitioning of children, such as "Children can't consent to puberty blockers," on his person in an effort to engage passersby in conversation, Elston is no stranger to confrontation. Over the years, he says he's been physically assaulted more than 40 times for his advocacy. FULL REPORT by Drea Humphrey:
