Longtime Debian user here. I love Debian Linux and the social contract is one of the main reasons I've used it for many years now, and continue to contribute to it but this diversity garbage is turning me off.
These orgs are making themselves irrelevant. They already have a tough playing field to compete for developer time and mindshare. They are advertising to everyone that it's not a place for moderate or conservative white men to work w/ out political harassment.
And that is one of the many reasons why, despite the fact that I know Debian like the back of my hand, I never once thought of even trying to contribute to Debian. I'd rather create my own derivative instead.

No. Please no. I am so tired of anything not involved with current ideology thinks it's prudent to "take a stand". Prime example is the Godot game engine. They alienated 50% of their support structure by "taking a stand" What did they accomplish... nothing. Stupid...
