Decided to just go ahead and add a traditional Command Menu to my game I previously tried to reinvent the wheel and make a unique UI, but I realized for a HeartsLike game, the Command Menu just feels more comfortable and instantly readable #IndieDev | #GameDev | #LuminousNights

I think Black Flag Resynced's ability slot system is completely inferior to a classic weapon wheel. With a weapon wheel, you can swap your quick slot items instantly, it looks clean on the HUD and it doesn't pull you out of the game world into the inventory menu just to reassign gear. Tbh this isn't just a BFR issue since several AC games over the past 8 years have suffered from it. I really hope Ubisoft adds an options to let players choose between a weapon wheel or ability slots and let us toggle between the compass and a traditional mini map.

Just a tech artist who wanted to learn & make something new. 100 days of excitement, despair, frustration, giddiness, sweat, & tears. Its been miserable. I've loved every minute of it. Its not amazing, I still have much to learn...but I made everything here and I'm proud of it. #gamedev #indiedev

I just watched AI build a game from a sentence. No Unity. No Unreal. No code. No files. I simply described the game I wanted to make, and Gear Zero planned it, coded it, created the visuals, and turned it into a playable game in my browser. But this is the part that got me 👇 You don’t just generate it and leave. You keep talking to Gear. Change things. Add features. Polish the game. Keep building.
