I drove Tesla for the first time; I felt happy like a child for the first 10 minutes, and was totally disappointed the rest of the ride The autopilot feature is not available in the EU, but even the lane-control works extremely badly Tesla didn't recognize road works and almost crushed me into a barrier Then it went completely crazy on a temporary orange lane and started wiggling around The assistant consistently missed lanes and ignored speed limit signs, so I had to disable the assistant and drive manually I drove an electric BMW i4 before, and it had a much better cruise control and assistant (it boggles my mind that BMW kicked Tesla's ass in software) With BMW, I never had to touch the gas pedal and drove the car just using cruise control and speed limit assistant You could also set a speed limit, and even if you pressed full gas, it never crossed, which was handy in a city Tesla is still an insane product, the interior and exterior design are amazing, but it feels like an app with an amazing frontend and a very poor backend (at least in the EU) Driving gave me a lot of motivation to make more $$$, and I will still probably get a Tesla, and not a BMW bz BMW is a car for boomers

i wanted to tell you how we made the visuals for nerve-bloom i did it with Natalia Kleszczewska and Natalie Liu . Natalia Kleszczewska is a painter , she painted the creatures and the backgrounds . Natalie Liu is a computer graphics director , she shaped the digital dimension of the work . my role in it was a creative director , bringing in the singer-songwriter tradition , where emotionally precise things happen inside the structure of a song . i guided colour pallettes , textures and the environments the music happens in . to make this possible , during the process , natalia often had to paint many shapes and sizes , different textures and layers of colours . natalie then developed the visuals, designing and overseeing CGI elements , and finding ways for the digital to sit organically alongside Natalia’s world . and include my dramaturgy and creative direction. we spent 7 months talking and working together , dedicated to relish in the craft of blending hand-made visuals with digital experimentation , 3D design and commit it to physical display technology . a lot of time was spent on researching different tools and techniques to find what worked best at each stage in the song . like i’ve done before , i wanted to merge old things with tech , giving it soul & a meaning . to paint a painting is an analog craft but computer programming is craftmanship too !! and both can co-exist , .....encouraging each other to bloom even further towards a mutual world . there is a tradition in pop music for the mucisian to choose a video director . in the art world , this is called “curation” , but where we came from , it was natural that the musician would have strong opinions on what your song needed , which mood , colours , textures & storyline . today this is called “creative director” and it is something we didn’t credit ourselves with in the 90s , but i am starting to understand this better now . i don´t think of me as a visual artist . because my heart is music . everything i do comes from a sonic point of view . this is something i have called “sonic symbolism” , sound made visual , a reverse synesthesia . when you listen to a song for the first time , it is like swallowing a whale , you need to feel the whole musical sculpture in one go . the structure of a song has always been extremely important to me : what shape it is . this is part of the craft of being a singer-songwriter ........... we are tune sculpturors ....... since i am talking about the visuals for nerve bloom it is impossible to not mention the avatars in my music videos . they have replaced the storyteller with anattempt to connect to the more universal element of music , through animation, avatars , puppetry both digital and analog . for me they are marionettes in a puppet-theatre , hopefully in a similar realm as the jungian archetypes ( which we all can act out the characteristics of ...) .... i feel nerve-bloom is a natural continuation .... an animated avatar archetype singing you a song ––––– Avatars, animation and archetypes: Nerve Bloom (remix) – on display at Listasafn Íslands / National Gallery of Iceland until September 20th 2026. Earlier today, I had the privilege of touring the Teknowledge office in Lagos alongside the Honorable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande (Ayodele Olawande ). Also present was Niyi Odejobi, as we explored the groundbreaking work Teknowledge is doing to drive technological innovation and youth empowerment in Nigeria. Teknowledge is dedicated to equipping young Nigerians with the skills and resources they need to thrive in the digital economy. Through specialized training in software development, artificial intelligence, digital entrepreneurship, and startup incubation, the organization is helping bridge the digital skills gap, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities for young people to excel. Their work is shaping a future where Nigerian youth are not just consumers of technology but active creators and leaders in the space. During the visit, the Minister was visibly impressed by the impact Teknowledge is making. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young people through digital education and job creation. He also spoke about the importance of strategic collaborations between the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and organizations like Teknowledge to expand access to tech-driven opportunities for Nigerian youth. It was inspiring to witness the alignment between Teknowledge’s vision and the Ministry’s goals. The war between the USA and Iran is on in a semi-hot state, with occasional bombings and insults, but it looks more like a war of (economic) attrition and will most likely not escalate into a full-fledged conflict again for a while. Will Israel and Iran stay in a ceasefire? Israel itself is not interested in a confrontation with Iran on its own. Israel wants Iran’s regime changed by others. To achieve this, Israel turns up the heat in Palestine or Lebanon at will, which triggers Iran and in turn flames up the whole conflict, leading to the US striking Iran again (which leads to retaliation, and so on). Especially since the situation with air-defense interceptors is difficult and the US is already basically in a war with Iran, I don’t see a need to escalate the conflict with Iran directly. If they want to, they’d do it indirectly via Lebanon, for example. In my opinion, yes, Iran and Israel will stay in a ceasefire unless Iran attacks Israel directly, which I don’t see. This will continue while other countries in the Middle East occasionally flare up in conflict.

I was at Mahindra University in Hyderabad Mahindra University last weekend, to preside, as Chancellor, over our 4th Annual Convocation. A particularly exciting feature of the trip was to see the innovation that is bubbling up all over the different Schools in the University. The diversity of the projects was energizing. A couple of examples: The Engineering School students have developed an autonomous E-shuttle that will be able to provide point-to-point unmanned transportation around the 100 acre campus. And Santosh, a new faculty member of the School of Design Innovation, showcased a line of footwear he had conceptualised (along with IIT Madras and ISB) using Gongadi fabric, woven from the coarse, warm wool of native sheep breeds. For centuries, it’s been made by local weavers for tribal and pastoral communities to keep warm in the chilly winters of the Deccan plateau. He’s adapted it to make footwear that local farmers can use which is easy to clean and maintain despite usage in muddy terrain and hopes to take the project forward at Mahindra University Universities must, and will leverage innovation that improves the quality of our lives…

Today we're launching Chipped 💅 [link in second tweet] 6 months ago we approached Shahanaj Akter with an idea. I wanted to turn my NFC chipped manicure into a set of press-ons so that I didn't have to spend hours doing it myself. Simple idea. Yeah not really, even though this idea has been around for a few years and so many great artists have been manually doing this, no one had worked out how to manufacture it. 6 weeks and 30 prototypes later we had it, she was a little rough around the edges but she worked, you could program it to anything with a URL. But linking to socials wasn’t enough, so we teamed with disco to build proof of irl schemas, so that when you tap it, it creates a decentralised friends list, stored privately, offchain but secured by your private key. During EF events we chipped over 200 crypto natives and the response was incredible with over 1000 data points being created in the first few days and 1 million impressions on twitter over the duration of the campaign. So, today is a fun day. We've released pre-sale. The colour drop is the result of governance and a community vote, but this is just the beginning for the colours and designs we plan on creating. For $49, the set of 22 press-ons comes in an aluminium matchbox with 2 NFC chip nails, and nail glue, so you can set your nails up in a few minutes literally anywhere [my salon of choice tends to be the airport lounge between conferences.] The nails come set up to your profile, which is kind of like a linktree [but cuter], where you’re able to add the socials you want it to link to, whether that's just your socials with the choice to add proof of irl credentials. It’s literally the memorable way to network. For guys who think this is ‘not for me’, consider it the easiest way to onboard your mother, your sisters and your girlfriend into web3. omni motion control is f*cking cracked the left clip is the original. the right is 100% ai, same video, one prompt i grabbed a weight loss transformation off tiktok, gave omni a single image of a totally different girl, and it rebuilt the whole clip around her. she copies the original move for move, down to the dumbbells and the timing. and she doesnt exist and i barely lifted a finger. this was the entire prompt, word for word: "replace the person in the video attached with the person attached in the image, make sure the weight loss transformation is exactly the same from fat to fit" gpt image 2 made the character and omni did the rest. thats it brands pay creators to reshoot the same winning ad with different people just to split test. now you film it once and swap the face for cents. one video turns into 50 i wrote up the full setup: > the prompt method that transfers motion without breaking > how to find reference videos that work > how to batch this out at scale comment "MOTION" and ill send it over
