Another match and another Gunther masterclass. The way he's telling stories in the ring is truly amazing. Dragon Lee starts the match smartly by jumping Gunther before the bell but quickly makes his first mistake. He gives his opponent time & space and Ring General capitalizes on it by hitting a brutal Back Body Drop on the floor. Lee is showing a lot of fire but he makes the same mistake over and over again which lets Gunther to be in control. Dragon tries to adapt his strategy to a counter wrestling, he baits his rival and makes Gunther run into him which works for a bit. But then he goes for a Suicide Dive and of course, he pays for it. But he's able to make a brilliant comeback, reversing move after move and finally taking Ring General down. Unfortunately, he gets little too excited, goes for Operation Dragon way too quickly and Gunther counters it easily. Now Gunther destroys Lee with Powerbombs. He could get a win but he remembers all the attacks and wants to punish luchador. This is the chance that Dragon was waiting for. He counters another Powerbomb into Sunset Bomb, fights through the pain and hits mutliple big moves. Now he would have any other opponent beaten but this is Ring General. He always has something up his sleeve, especially when he's in survival mode. He stops another Operation Dragon attempt, takes off Lee's mask and puts him in Sleeper Hold to get the win. Gunther is willing to use cheap tactics to get the job done, we saw it against AJ Styles, and now against Dragon Lee. Brilliant finish to a great match. Gunther was fantastic as always and a great underdog performance from Dragon Lee.

Nobody Sincerely Believes Cuba Threatens The United States In a sign that the US is preparing for yet another evil war, Marco Rubio is now claiming that Cuba poses a “national security threat” to the United States, saying the likelihood of a peaceful agreement is “not high”. “Cuba not only has weapons that they’ve acquired from Russia and China over the years, but they also host Russian and Chinese intelligence presence in their country — not far from where we’re standing right now,” Rubio told the press on Thursday. “So Cuba has always posed a national security threat to the United States. They, by the way, have been one of the leading sponsors of terrorism in the entire region.” Rubio’s comments come as a US intelligence report laundered through Axios claims that Cuba may be preparing to launch a drone strike against US military forces. Havana said the Axios report misrepresents Cuba’s defensive measures as a preparation to attack, accusing the US of “fabricating pretexts, creating and spreading falsehoods, and distorting as extraordinary the logical preparation required to face a potential aggression.” The US has also unsealed an indictment for Raul Castro, the 94 year-old brother of Fidel Castro, in a move that resembles the playbook used for the kidnapping of Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro. The excuses for military action are already being rolled out. This happens as US war machinery relocates to the Caribbean, and as Cuba flounders under a crushing US oil blockade that is already inflicting a severe humanitarian toll. And everyone knows it’s all based on lies. You know it. I know it. Marco Rubio knows it. The war propagandists know it. The gusanos brigading social media begging for war know it. We all know it’s a sham. Not one person sincerely believes Cuba poses a threat to the United States. No one sincerely believes Cuba just coincidentally became an urgent menace to US national security all of a sudden right when the US began scrambling to consolidate geostrategic control in the middle east and the western hemisphere. Nobody actually thinks that a tiny, impoverished island nation is preparing to launch a war of aggression against the United States. This is a performance put on by warmongers and bootlickers. It insults our intelligence and robs us of dignity. If things cool down with Iran, then it’s a safe bet they’re going in for the kill shot on Cuba. The US empire never makes peace, it just moves the crosshairs of its war machinery from nation to nation. We see this over and over again. Yay! The troops are leaving Afghanistan — oh, now they’re waging a proxy war in Ukraine. Excellent, they’re deescalating against Yemen — whoa, now they’re kidnapping the president of Venezuela. Oh hey, it looks like the mass slaughter in Gaza has slowed down — oh, now they’re going to war with Iran. Look, they’re pulling thousands of troops out of Germany — oh, it’s so they can move them to Poland. Hey these Iran negotiations are finally getting somewhere — ah man, now they’re invading Cuba. Over and over and over and over again. As soon as the human butchery slows down in one place, it picks up somewhere else. The US empire exists in a constant state of war. War is the glue that holds the empire together. If the wars stop, the empire stops. That’s why the denizens of the empire are never allowed to vote for an end to wars. You can vote for candidates who will end abortions or trans rights or corporate regulations, but you can’t vote for a candidate who will actually end the wars. Peace is never on the ballot, because war is too critical for the functioning of the empire. Which is why it’s so important for us all to stand against the war machine. If we can end the wars, we can end the empire. Not until then will we have a shot at building a healthy world.

“Mitch Marner disappears in the playoffs” One of the coolest parts about X is the having the ability to communicate with thousands of people who live in an entirely different universe. In my native reality, Mitch Marner is ranked 28th overall in points-per-game in the playoffs since he’s come into the league among players with 25+ playoff games played. Tied with Barkov and Ovechkin. That’s higher than all other Leafs, Panarin, Bergeron, Tkachuk, Stamkos, J. Robertson, and plenty more. Again, this is from the time he was a rookie - a wee lad. He’s 12th overall in the last 3 seasons with the same filter - and again, 1st on the Leafs. There is a SIGNIFICANT drop off, league-wide, in playoff scoring. This is not a recent phenomenon. There are 33 players with a point-per-game pace or better over the last 3 regular seasons. There are only 13 players at a point-per-game pace or better over the last 3 playoffs - Marner is one of them. Yes, even with his less productive post-season this year. This narrative that Marner disappears in the playoffs is weighted far too heavily on the confirmation bias of disgruntled fans online after the Leafs get eliminated. It is not rooted in reality. Full blown Marner Derangement Syndrome. There are plenty of justifiable reasons for trading Marner. His ability is not one of them. Here’s a quick highlight pack of Marner in the playoffs over the last 3 seasons for those of you whose bias has turned 16’s jersey into an invisibility cloak (courtesy of Danny9 & HockeyAllStar5): #leafsforever

🚨 “Canadians are ignorant and ungrateful” — says the immigrant TikToker. The guy in the video just torched that nonsense. He shut down his entire 13-employee Canadian business, moved to Florida, started fresh — and now enjoys lower taxes, way cheaper housing, and sunshine year-round. He’s living proof Canada’s “it could be worse” mindset is pure cope. Here’s the GTA reality under 11 years of Liberal rule: •Unemployment at 6.9% (April 2026) while the US sits at 4.4% and dominates G7 growth. •Housing prices vs disposable income? Canada is completely off the charts worse than the US. •Home invasions surging again across Toronto — especially wealthy neighbourhoods. In Peel Region (Mississauga + Brampton) alone: over 530 break-and-enters already reported in early 2026. •Carjackings and auto theft still hammering the GTA: Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga ranked #1-3 in Ontario for theft claims. Vaughan and Oakville also badly hit. •Jewellery store smash-and-grabs: Organized crews with hammers and stolen vehicles targeting malls and high-end stores across the GTA — multiple rings busted this year but the crime wave keeps rolling. This isn’t “the entire globe struggling.” This is Canada-specific decline — sky-high taxes, unaffordable housing, and rising crime while politicians gaslight us. The guy in the video saw it, left, and is thriving. Hearing how well he’s doing down south — are you thinking of moving too? Drop a 🔥 if you’re done with the excuses. 12-Year-Old Secretly Calls 911 on His Father — What Happens Next Is Intense 😳🚨 A terrified 12-year-old secretly called police to report his abusive father, triggering a tense standoff at the front door. Officers arrived to check on the kids — but the father exploded, turning a welfare check into a confrontation on the edge of violence. 1. The officer begins calmly, asking how many people are inside. 2. The father immediately threatens him, saying if he gets closer, he’ll be “put in the ground.” 3. The officer explains he’s only there to make sure everyone — especially the kids — is safe. 4. The father warns him not to knock again, promising violence if he does. 5. The officer insists he must speak with the children who called for help. 6. The father blocks the doorway, refusing to let him talk to anyone. 7. The officer orders him to take his hands out of his pockets for safety. 8. The father claims he has no weapons and hates guns, trying to downplay the threat. 9. The officer asks how much he’s had to drink, sensing he’s impaired. 10. The father shouts that everything is fine and demands the officer leave immediately. 11. The officer repeats that he’s worried about the kids’ safety above all. 12. The standoff ends in a tense deadlock — one side demanding access, the other refusing to open the door. 💬 Should police be allowed inside immediately when a child secretly calls for help — or should they still wait for the parent’s permission?

Dropout by hand ✍️ ~ 10 steps walkthrough below Dropout is the simplest trick in deep learning that actually works: during training you randomly switch neurons off, so the network cannot lean on any one of them. It is two lines of code and almost nobody has worked through what those lines do to the numbers. So I drew and calculated one entirely by hand. Goal: train one pass through a small network with two dropout layers, then run inference with dropout switched off. The network: Linear(2,4), ReLU, Dropout(0.5), Linear(4,3), ReLU, Dropout(0.33), Linear(3,2). = 1. Given = A training set of two examples, X1 and X2, and the weight matrices for all three linear layers. = 2. Draw the first random numbers = Let us draw 4 random numbers, one per neuron in the first hidden layer. Above 0.5 we keep (◯), below we drop (╳). Here that gives [◯, ╳, ◯, ╳]. = 3. Build the first dropout matrix = We turn that pattern into a diagonal matrix. The scaling factor is 1/(1-p) = 2, so a kept neuron gets 2 and a dropped one gets 0. Multiplying by it does both jobs at once: it deletes the 2nd and 4th neurons and doubles the two that survive. = 4. Draw the second random numbers = Let us do it again for the 3 neurons in the next layer, this time against p = 0.33. The result is [◯, ◯, ╳]. = 5. Build the second dropout matrix = We set the diagonal to 1.5 where kept and 0 where dropped. Only the 3rd neuron goes. = 6. Feed forward = Let us run the whole thing top to bottom: one matrix multiplication per layer, ReLU setting the negatives to zero, and the two dropout matrices doing their work in between. The outputs Y come out at the bottom. = 7. MSE loss gradients = We compare Y against the targets Y', subtract, and multiply each element by 2. That is the whole gradient of the mean squared error. = 8. Update the weights = Let us push those gradients back through the network and update the weights (marked in light red). = 9. Deactivate dropout = Training is over, so we set both dropout matrices to the identity. Every neuron is back, and nothing is scaled. = 10. Feed forward again = One more pass, this time on unseen data, to make the prediction. You have just trained and run a network with dropout by hand. ✍️ The outputs: Training outputs Y = [-6, 9; 13, 4] Loss gradients = [-4, 4; 6, -2] Inference outputs = [13, 13; 4, 3] 💾 Save this post! #AIbyHand #Dropout #DeepLearning #NeuralNetworks

Back in March, Fede Gomez had hit rock bottom. He was on a huge losing streak and in a very dark place mentally, opening up in an emotional letter to his fans (posted below) about how he was not only considering retiring from tennis, but had even reached the point of contemplating suicide. Today, he just made the US Open main draw for the first time in his career. He came into Queens with major fitness and health concerns, having not played in over a month after being forced to retire with an injury vs Pavlovic. Qualifying for the main draw was a long shot, to say the least. In Round 1, he shocked Klein as a +550 underdog. In Round 2, he pulled another upset against rising star Cina as a +240 dog. In Round 3, he was down a set and 0-4 to Grenier The feel-good story of the tournament had almost surely come to a painful end. But Fede fought. With his back against the wall, he stormed back to win five of the next six games, miraculously getting the match back on serve Grenier managed to stop the bleeding at 5-5 and again put Gomez right up against it, needing a hold to keep his US Open dream alive He stared down match point at 5-6 30-40, one false move away from going home But Fede fought. And fought. Until he found himself celebrating in front of the frenzied crowd on Court 10, taking it all in after having completed the unlikeliest of comebacks to cap off one of the most magical qualifying runs you’ll ever see Look how much it means. This was so much more than just a match It was undeniable proof of why you never, EVER give up. Tennis is the greatest sport in the world 🥲

🚨BARBARIC EFF THUGS TURN UJ CAMPUS INTO WARZONE – WHY CAN'T THEY PROTEST WITHOUT DESTROYING EVERYTHING⁉️ Thursday, 11 June 2026, was yet another chaotic day in Auckland Park, Johannesburg. Hundreds of UJ EFF students mostly NSFAS-funded, turned Thrive Student Living Properties and surrounding areas into a battleground‼️ What started as protests over so-called “top-up” fees (forced extra payments on top of the NSFAS cap of around R52 000 per year for accredited residences) quickly descended into the usual EFF-ANC style destruction🔥 Why can’t they just protest peacefully⁉️ Everyone has the right to voice their opinion, but vandalising property, breaking buildings and causing mayhem is straight-up barbaric‼️ It solves nothing. These thugs destroy infrastructure that doesn’t belong to them, then expect someone else to clean up the mess. Who pays for the repairs, the owners, the university, taxpayers or will it just push accommodation costs even higher for everyone else⁉️ This kind of reckless thuggery doesn’t advance students’ causes, it only proves once again that EFF-led protests are rarely about legitimate grievances and always about entitlement wrapped in violence🔥 Fix your issues without acting like savages and destroying what others have built‼️ 🔥Black radical extremism must be confronted and dismantled in South Africa, in order for us to survive as a functioning nation‼️‼️

I'm going to take some time tomorrow to tell you this story in full. When I first came across it, I had to check it again to make sure it wasn't made up. A South Yorkshire police man, of Pakistani origin, naturally, eventually gets suspended for his role in gang raping little White girls. As soon as he's suspended, his run over and killed in a road accident. The man who ran him over just happened to be another Pakistani man who knew him. It gets darker. And I somehow doubt the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) want the story told. But it will be. There's no stopping what's coming. _________ I am Raja Miah. For six years, I led a small team that exposed how politicians protected the rape gangs. During this time, Labour politicians tried everything possible to stop me. I spent 3 years on bail as case after case they fabricated against me collapsed in court. My mother died before I was able to clear my name. Now the truth is out. In detail. The Pakistani Rape Gangs are real. And their victims, little White girls, number in the hundreds of thousands. So now the question is: will you stand with me and help make sure the National Inquiry we have all fought for is not a whitewash? 🔴 Subscribe to my newsletter – it’s free. 🏛️⚖️ For a thousand years, the British people governed themselves without the state. This is how they did it. A thousand years ago in England, there were no police. There were no prisons. There was no central state strong enough to reach every village. And yet, somehow, England worked. The reason was something the Anglo-Saxons had built into the foundations of their society. They called it frankpledge. Every man in every village belonged to a group of ten. They were called a tithing. ⚖️ And each man, by law, was responsible for the conduct of every other man in his tithing. If one man committed a crime, his nine neighbours were responsible for bringing him to justice. If they failed, they paid the fine themselves. The whole tithing answered for the crime of one man. 📜 The system was given the force of law by King Canute, the Anglo-Danish king who united England in peace. Between 1016 and 1035, Canute decreed that every man over the age of 12 must belong to a tithing. When the Normans came in 1066, they could have abolished it. They did the opposite. William the Conqueror kept the Anglo-Saxon system. And he made it stronger. ⚔️ Twice every year, the Sheriff would arrive in the village. He would call the tithings together. He would check that every man was accounted for. This was called the View of Frankpledge. The system held England together for 300 years. And when the king's courts eventually grew to replace it, two pieces of frankpledge stayed behind. 🔥 The first became the jury. Twelve neighbours, called to judge another. The same idea, transplanted from the village to the courtroom. The second became the constable. The man chosen from among neighbours to keep the peace. Not imposed from above. Chosen from below. Modern British policing began here. The jury system began here. The principle that ordinary British people are responsible for ordinary British people began in an Anglo-Saxon village a thousand years ago. ✍️ For a thousand years, we have been responsible for each other. We do not need the state to teach us how to belong. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This channel has no ads. No sponsors. No state funding. It is built the same way the tithing was built. By the people who choose to stand in it. Be part of us 🇬🇧👉 👈🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

OF Ethan Conrad (Wake Forest Baseball) has seen his Draft stock rise considerably over the last calendar year. Following a productive Freshman season and summer, Conrad had an outstanding Sophomore year to the tune of a .389/.467/.704 slash line with 18 2B, a nation-leading 13 3B, 9 HR, 52 RBIs and 17 SB. His hot hitting didn't stop there, though, as on the Cape this summer he was both an All-Star (ASG MVP) and All-League selection after hitting .385/.433/.486 with 5 2B, 2 HR, 19 RBIs, and 19 SB. Conrad has an athletic, big league frame at 6'3" and 200-lbs. Simple setup in the box in which he stands fairly upright—albeit slightly hunched over—with a medium-high handset and holds the bat flat over his back shoulder. Minimal load, leg lift leads into a small stride. Conrad takes a direct path to contact and his barrel accelerates through the zone. Hand speed is above-average. It's a very compact, repeatable and under control operation. He has plus bat-to-ball skills and is consistently on the barrel. Last spring he ran an overall IZ contact rate of 91%, including 90% against FB and 94% against both SL and CH. This summer was a similar story, as his overall IZ contact rate was also 91% (93% against FB/CH, 91% against SL). Conrad can get trigger happy with FB in the top and/or outer-1/3 and has the tendency to chase secondaries down, though it hasn't hindered his production to this point. Tightening up his swing decisions a bit will help. Would give his hit tool a 55. Conrad has shown the ability to spray line drives to all parts of the field and is capable of driving the baseball into either gap. While he uses the whole field, his highest quality of contact comes to the pull side—which is also where all of his HR power to this point has come. There's present impact, however, and this spring he posted a Max EV of 109.4 and this summer his Max EV was 105.4. If he's able to get the ball up in the air more, increased HR numbers should follow suit. Power is a 50 right now. Corner OF profile defensively where his speed and athleticism translate well. Good instincts, can go and get balls in the gap or down the line. Arm is average. Alluded to it, but Conrad is also a plus runner who has a knack for taking an extra base on a ball in the gap or down the line. Most importantly, he knows *how* to run which helps his speed play up on the bases where he's an effective base stealer and chaos-causer. There's a lot to like tools-wise with Conrad and he figures to be the centerpiece of Wake Forest's lineup in 2025. Definite day 1 type this July, top-40 overall upside. (📽️: Marist Baseball)
