#WATCH | Germany: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh welcomed to the hotel of his stay, in Berlin. The Defence Minister is on an official visit to Germany from April 21 to 23, 2026 to further strengthen the strategic defence partnership between the two countries. During the visit, he is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius and other senior leaders of the government. A Defence Industrial Cooperation Roadmap and Implementing Arrangement for Cooperation in UN Peacekeeping Operations Training are likely to be signed in the presence of both Defence Ministers.

At the inauguration ceremony of the German tank brigade "Lithuania" in Vilnius, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Defense Minister Boris Pistorius declared that this is a direct measure in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
