hen will they learn. Just fire a puck at the ref when you clearing it. Get your point across without suspension. I used to do it in beer league. I learned it watching Mike Vernon fire one at Kerry Fraser's head when Vernie played for the Sharks.

Here's a good example of 1) how to make a point to a ref, but 2) when you go too far. Team Canada's head coach is upset with 3 calls and discusses it with the ref at the end of the 3rd. But once he says "But you guys gotta do better" watch the ref reaction, and his response.

McBurnie was a little bit lucky here I think. Ref was on the blindside but OMc knew what he was doing, turning his body then throwing elbow into Derek’s ribs. Probably a 🟨 if ref has a clear sight of that. #Millwall
