Mohammed bin Rashid: As part of our efforts to transform Dubai into the world’s best city to live in by 2040, we recently approved the AED3 billion Dubai Beaches Development plan aimed at increasing beach capacity for tourists and visitors by 170%. Work has commenced, and our teams continue to deliver at pace. There has been no slowdown, and there will be none. I toured Al Mamzar Beaches, one of our strategic projects nearing completion. It will become one of Dubai’s leading family beach destinations, spanning four million square feet and capable of accommodating up to seven million visitors annually. The pace of our projects will continue to accelerate. We remain committed to a clear development agenda, with even greater achievements ahead.

Today, we approved the designs for the new passenger terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport, and commencing construction of the building at a cost of AED 128 billion as part of Dubai Aviation Corporation's strategy. Al Maktoum International Airport will enjoy the world's largest capacity, reaching up to 260 million passengers. It will be five times the size of the current Dubai International Airport, and all operations at Dubai International Airport will be transferred to it in the coming years. The airport will accommodate 400 aircraft gates and feature five parallel runways. New aviation technologies will be employed for the first time in the aviation sector. As we build an entire city around the airport in Dubai South, demand for housing for a million people will follow. It will host the world's leading companies in the logistics and air transport sectors. The total number of active companies rose by 25% year-on-year, while financial services licences grew by 28%. As part of the “Positive Spirit” initiative by the Dubai Policeشرطة دبي, this morning a team of officials and volunteers from various departments visited Azizi Developments’ project site at Al Jaddaf area. The purpose of the visit was to meet with our project workers, raise awareness on worker wellbeing in the summer months, and distribute umbrellas and refreshment packages. The visit was warmly received and appreciated by our staff and site managers. For my part, as the Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, I express deep gratitude to the leadership and officials of Dubai Police for going above and beyond their core role of providing world-class security in Dubai to promote the spirit of care and community in the city.
