Mohammed bin Rashid: As part of our efforts to transform Dubai into the world’s best city to live in by 2040, we recently approved the AED3 billion Dubai Beaches Development plan aimed at increasing beach capacity for tourists and visitors by 170%. Work has commenced, and our teams continue to deliver at pace. There has been no slowdown, and there will be none. I toured Al Mamzar Beaches, one of our strategic projects nearing completion. It will become one of Dubai’s leading family beach destinations, spanning four million square feet and capable of accommodating up to seven million visitors annually. The pace of our projects will continue to accelerate. We remain committed to a clear development agenda, with even greater achievements ahead.

I was delighted to meet with representatives from Dubai’s cultural and creative sector during a workshop held in collaboration between Dubai Culture and Dubai Future Foundation. Together, we explored challenges, shared perspectives, and identified opportunities that will shape the future. Moments like these reveal the true strength of our sector.. a shared spirit of collaboration, a deep sense of responsibility, and an unwavering belief that creativity is the engine of progress. Together, we do more than keep pace with change, we shape it. And we move forward with confidence, driving a future that is bolder, more dynamic and endlessly innovative.

Today, we approved the designs for the new passenger terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport, and commencing construction of the building at a cost of AED 128 billion as part of Dubai Aviation Corporation's strategy. Al Maktoum International Airport will enjoy the world's largest capacity, reaching up to 260 million passengers. It will be five times the size of the current Dubai International Airport, and all operations at Dubai International Airport will be transferred to it in the coming years. The airport will accommodate 400 aircraft gates and feature five parallel runways. New aviation technologies will be employed for the first time in the aviation sector. As we build an entire city around the airport in Dubai South, demand for housing for a million people will follow. It will host the world's leading companies in the logistics and air transport sectors. We are building a new project for future generations, ensuring continuous and stable development for our children and their children in turn. Dubai will be the world's airport, its port, its urban hub, and its new global center.

We have several pockets of rural areas in this City: Rooiwal, Winterveldt, Sokhulumi and Bronkhorstspruit. We met with the National Department of Land Reform and Rural Development today and we have put in place timelines for our development objectives for Winterveldt’s rural community. The total number of active companies rose by 25% year-on-year, while financial services licences grew by 28%. As part of the “Positive Spirit” initiative by the Dubai Policeشرطة دبي, this morning a team of officials and volunteers from various departments visited Azizi Developments’ project site at Al Jaddaf area. The purpose of the visit was to meet with our project workers, raise awareness on worker wellbeing in the summer months, and distribute umbrellas and refreshment packages. The visit was warmly received and appreciated by our staff and site managers. For my part, as the Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, I express deep gratitude to the leadership and officials of Dubai Police for going above and beyond their core role of providing world-class security in Dubai to promote the spirit of care and community in the city.
