Can you confirm whether we actually had 42 MPs?

Following our Hon'ble CM's rallying call on the twin issues of Hindi imposition & delimitation which affect our lives & our rights, and his suggestion that we use his birthday as a moment to take our ideology to the people, I'm sharing a clip from the MBIFL Lit Fest in Kerala where I answered my co-panelist Shashi Tharoor's question on our discontents with the three-language formula. "If you insist on a three-language policy, then what you are effectively saying is that the Hindi heartland cannot be taught English even as a second language and therefore gets to have a one-language policy and non-Hindi speaking states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala should have a three-language formula just because they (the North) will know only Hindi - Why should I need a three-language policy?" தமிழ்நாட்டின் உயிர் பிரச்சனையாம் மொழித் திணிப்பிற்கும், உரிமை பிரச்சனையாம் தொகுதி மறுசீரமைப்பிற்கும் எதிரான உரிமைக் குரல் எழுப்புவதற்கான களமாக தமது பிறந்தநாளைப் பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் எனக் கேட்டுக்கொண்ட நமது தாய்மொழி காக்கும் தலைவர், மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் திரு.
