I am deeply disturbed and outraged by this video from Busia County Referral Hospital. If it is true that the hospital has detained these young mothers and their newborns as alleged simply because they cannot pay cash for maternal services then it is illegal, unconstitutional and inhumane. This amounts to unlawful confinement and a gross violation of the dignity of our mothers. The following county officials MUST urgently investigate this matter and act immediately: • H.E.
