I came across two remigration advocates at Calgary City Hall protesting the raising of the Palestinian flag. “No disrespect to the Palestinians, but this is Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and those are the only three flags that should ever be flying here at any time,” one advocate said. Calgary’s new mayor announced earlier that he will introduce a motion to ban the raising of foreign national flags at City Hall going forward.

NEW: Man has a meltdown on a plane set to depart from Los Angeles to Bogotá, Colombia after flight attendants told him he had to exit because they double booked. This is one of the rare instances where I'm on the side of the passenger having a meltdown. The man claimed he had booked his flight three months ahead of time as he berated the flight attendants who were making him leave. "I paid for it, they deducted it from my card, you haven’t given me anything, it wasn’t a favor! It seems disrespectful to me that you would sell something you don’t have." The man eventually left the plane which received a small applause from passengers.

NEW: Three black men have launched a lawsuit against American Airlines after they were removed from a flight for "body odor." Eight black men in total were removed from an American Airlines flight from Phoenix to New York City in January. Here is where things get interesting: The three men who filed the lawsuit didn't even know each other. The men are claiming they were racially discriminated against by the flight attendant who kicked them off. "Y’all just took like eight Black people off the plane," a man said during the incident. After American Airlines was unable to rebook their flights, the men were allowed back on the plane, which they say was very embarrassing. Montreal, October 7th. A McGill student with an Israeli flag was chased by police on horses, then threatened with arrest for obstruction if he refused to leave the campus. For his "safety." Shortly after this, a group of students holding Israeli flags were told they had to leave the McGill campus, or they would be arrested for obstruction. For their "safety." McGill security would not comment on whether or not McGill has an official policy to remove students with Israeli flags. The SPVM would not comment, nor would they direct me to a police liaison to clarify why these students were being targeted. Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters were permitted on campus with Palestinian flags. Some of these protesters burned an Israeli flag. Why are the students "unsafe" while holding a flag? Is holding a flag that radicals dislike now grounds for arrest in Canada? The SPVM seem to be doing the bidding of the radicals. They claim that holding one flag is obstruction but holding another is not. Why are they refusing to enforce the law. Why is carrying the Palestinian flag police-permitted and police-protected freedom of expression, when carrying the Israeli flag isn't? Rather than contending with the radicals and arresting them if they commit crimes, the SPVM opted to remove the peaceful students from campus. Another victory for pro-Hamas radicals on our streets. Another attack on freedom of expression.

More than a third of what he said last night was ad-libbed, and all the ad lib was back to what he normally does, which is this is the grievance against me, this is how horribly I've been treated. We are being asked to agree a policy which is 𝚌𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚕𝚢, 𝚍𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚞𝚗𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍𝚎𝚍! I proposed that no decision should be made on this policy until the 𝚏𝚞𝚕𝚕 and 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 costings are available, and that 𝙊𝙉𝙇𝙔 Belfast residents and ratepayers can respond to the consultation. Really disappointed that the 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 joined with the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆, 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗶𝗻, 𝗦𝗗𝗟𝗣, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗕𝗣 to vote against allowing Belfast ratepayers to have a say on what their rates are spent on!

In our view, this kind of political gesturing is unnecessary and divisive. We all unite under two flags, the Union flag and St George's Cross. The FP’s Maya Sulkin responds to ICE’s arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian activist and graduate student who allegedly helped lead Columbia University protests against Israel. “This is someone who has been the engine behind so much of the violence that we have seen on campus since October 7th, and so no one is telling Khalil and students like him that they cannot peacefully protest or even say things that we disagree with. What is happening is violence. It is harassment. It is trespassing. It is causing thousands of dollars in property damage and sending public safety officers to the hospital. So we are not talking about free speech anymore.…He was handing out fliers from the Hamas media outlet, which is not an exaggeration. Literally, the Hamas logo on these fliers. False flags go back to Syria, during the Obama administration, where President Obama said, "Hey, my red line and my determinant point to go to war with Syria will be if chemical weapons are introduced," and all of a sudden, magically, chemical weapons are introduced in the domestic war in Syria. So historically, Israel has been known for false flags, and I don't see any difference this time because they truly do not want this war against Iran to end. See, it's part of the master plan…it's part of the plan why we went into Iraq. I saw it. I saw the plans going all the way back to the 1990s. Our people are tired of being afraid, of hiding in bathrooms and corridors, waiting for the worst. So today, we celebrate life, our flag, our city, and our freedom. These are our people, who live and work under constant threat of death, the never-ending drone buzz, and regular explosions. This is what refusing to give up looks like. Happy Ukrainian National Flag Day and Kharkiv Day! 🇺🇦 Even as the crowd gathered, there were air raid alerts, and russian drones burned down two houses in Kharkiv just last night. 📹: Place_Kharkiv
