DELTARUNE CHAPTER 6 LEAK - Seam's failed quest

i've never really edited a deltarune cutscene before and also most of this was written out at like 1am so sorry if it's dookie

in these past few days i have gathered such a violent love for seam it's insane. somehow despite doing NOTHING new chapter 5 they jumped to top 5 fav to me lolllll

oh btw fun fact even though the entire premise of this video is "what if you missed Mad Mew Mew after collecting every other Shadow Crystal", in the first version i made, without thinking I just plopped her outside the shop 😭

btw this is my idea for if you DO get the last crystal if anyone's curious :3c

This is really well done, not a lot of people get Seam's character like this. Even in chapter 1 the subtle depressive air to their character is extremely sad. That being said I can't help but imagine walking back into the shop and seeing Seam hanging from the ceiling.

that was actually gonna originally be how this ended. Kris was gonna leave the shop and it'd just be gone behind them, and the Kawkaw was gonna be shocked. but i just got lazy lol :P also LOLLLLL

Holy shit this is so good. Seam viewing this as toying with their hope is such an interesting take, and they'd be kinda right. I mean, really, who gets the Knights crystal but not Gersons for any reason but to see what Seam says? Seammm they break my heart so much

this is interesting,. i never considered the possibility of them being Angry/viewing it as us toying with them but that'd be an interesting outcome. they're so resigned over it in their other dialogue them lashing out would be different... lack of bg is nice though, feels eerie

As soon as I say the "Talk" option by itself I felt a hole in my stomach that no other Deltarune video has made me feel ever before My whole body feels weird now Take that as a compliment Cool video dude

a little detail that probably went unnoticed by all but i actually made the only option talk BECAUSE Seam in chapter 5 mentions "my items will never change. Nor, will I." if you don't have the crystals i made the option to buy items at all gone to show that even without the-

quest completed, whether Seam realizes it or not, their hope they felt really did change them

I knew it meant something but I couldn't put my finger on it. It's actually fascinating!

I watched without the context of it being a what-if dialogue for failing to get a shadowcrystal in ch5 so my gen reaction to this was: "ohh cool, this Seam's dialog for getting all crystals...!" until the 200km/h brick hit me straight and I fell to my knees Very great tho 🥹👍👍
