Why to vote for the first female president Kamala Harris: 9 areas where women excel in leadership: - Empathy: Women tend to be more attuned to the emotions and needs of their team, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. - Collaboration: Women often excel at building consensus and encouraging teamwork, creating a collaborative work culture. - Communication: Women typically have strong interpersonal communication skills, which help in resolving conflicts and ensuring clarity in expectations. - Emotional Intelligence: Women are often better at recognizing and managing both their own emotions and those of others, leading to healthier workplace dynamics. - Adaptability: Women frequently demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the face of change, allowing them to navigate complex situations effectively. - Attention to Detail: Women often have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that projects are completed to a high standard. - Mentorship: Women often excel at nurturing talent and providing mentorship, which helps in the development and retention of employees. - Patience and Persistence: Women often show patience and persistence, which are crucial for long-term success and achieving goals in the face of obstacles. - Holistic Thinking: Women are often skilled at considering the broader impact of decisions, integrating various perspectives to make well-rounded choices. Men not confident in their own abilities are the ones who fear strong women. Men who call other men “gay” for respecting powerful women are usually unsure of their own sexuality (nothing wrong with that) or believe that they are better than women.

One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts has reached a new low - even for him! He has described women attempting suicide or self-harm as 'attention seeking' while saying men who do the same are suffering a legitimate medical condition. He made the comments during Senate Estimates. Since ... well forever ... the discussions around suicide and self-harm has centred on men's experience. Women have only been an after thought but that is changing somewhat. Women attempt suicide or self-harm at much higher rates than men but men are more likely to die as a result of their attempts. We do know that 19% of women who suicide do so after experiencing domestic violence while suicide rates among women who are raped or sexually assaulted are also quite staggering. Research is slowly emerging showing how violence itself is a precursor to women ending their own lives or attempting to. And the Federal Government is holding an inquiry into domestic violence related suicide as I write. It's perfectly okay to discuss differing rates of suicides - and their causality - among women and men. But for someone in a position of influence and power to say women are attention seeking when they suicide or self-harm is grotesque. *** ❤️SUPPORT MY WORK❤️ Please support my work and the Memorial to Women and Children Lost to Violence and Australian Femicide Watch. Recently, Athena Forum Director Faika ahmed abd elrhman spoke at the Hanus Days Festival in Bratislava on reality, freedom and human dignity. She spoke about the many, many women across Europe who have been viciously attacked and subjected to a social and professional death sentence for standing up for women's rights. Women who are feminists, oftentimes lesbians, former leftists, accomplished professionals. Who have been likened to extremists - in reports, dossiers and media coverage -, have been made physically unsafe, existentially destitute and emotionally abandoned by their political allies and often closest comrades, friends and family. And about the perpetrators who are orchestrating an inquisition akin to a holy war. Against those who are disobedient and refuse to follow blatant lies, who do not support harmful social changes and medical interventions, and continue to stand for women's rights. And the values that ground those who perpetrate the persecution, those who follow them, and those who watch; in horror, with fascination, indifference or in silence. And about the current state of “the progressive project”, which once understood freedom as the collective struggle to improve the material conditions of life. Today, freedom is conceived as the individual right to define oneself independently of social and biological reality. Subjective identity has replaced objective reality, bodily integrity has given way to radical autonomy, exploitation has become self-empowerment and agency. Alongside this paradigmatic shift, another intellectual current is reshaping our understanding of what it means to be human, to be embodied, to be women and men, of the fabric of the society in which we are embedded, and the proper role of the state. Moving away from accepting the givenness and limits of the human condition and towards maximising autonomy, choice and technological control. Link to the full speech and discussion below ⬇️
