This representative is ignorant radical trash shouldn't be ordering any one around as if she owned them. Anyone can quote MLK, Jr. any time and in any way they want and enjoy the day off, too. Character means more than skin color every time. End DEI, bring back merit!

The Texas Democrat took aim at the GOP as a “majority… White” party while criticizing lawmakers for spotlighting civil rights activist Alveda King during a hearing examining the Southern Poverty Law Center. At one point, Crockett suggested Republicans were trying to make the public think a “Doctor King” was condemning the SPLC, prompting a fiery response from King. King responded saying Crockett's comments made her "emotional" and later questioned whether Crockett was calling her a "bastard" of the King name — but by by the time she responded, Crockett had already stormed away from the room.

The gutting of the Voting Rights Act is a direct attack on democracy and the sacrifices of those who bled and died for equal justice. From Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to Congressman John Lewis and Fannie Lou Hamer, we cannot dishonor their legacy by remaining silent. We don’t feel no ways tired — we will keep fighting to protect the sacred right to vote for every American.
