What even is a roman accent?

If you watched the movie Denzel Washington wasn’t even supposed to be roman in the plot. Also Pedro pascal also wasn’t doing a British accent and neither were half the cast.

I'm tired of every historical piece, assuming they had a British accent.

Movies set in Rome should be in Latin. Change my mind (level impossible)

People don't want to critizise Denzel because of his greatness and positive reputation. As much as I'm a fan, he was not right for this role. If a black actor was going to be forced into this role it should have been Edris Elba.

When ur as good an actor as Denzel is and he steals the film with his performance..you can do any accent you want

That's a pretty good impression. Still a shitty movie though.

Half expected for Denzel to finish every line of dialogue with a “My man…”
