Scott Satterfield is relentless. He started his career making $7k as an assistant coach. Then in 2012, Satterfield was named App State’s new head coach and led the Mountaineers to 3 Sun Belt conference championships in 4 years before heading to Louisville. His stint at Louisville was a breeze compared to what was ahead of him at Cincinnati. No one will read this: But when one goes through the list of “race laws” the IRR talks about… you actually get shocked. I went in expecting hardcore stuff like “No whites allowed in University” or “No whites allowed in Hospitals” etc… but noo. It’s the Gambling Act, South African Weather Service Act, Boxing Act, Tourism Act, Broadcasting Act, National Sport and Recreation Act, National Health Laboratory Service Act, Civil Aviation Act, Electronic Communications Act, etc. listed. Here is the website: And they’re listed… not because they segregate anyone, but simply because they mention the words transformation or redress, some coz they require some racial/sex/disability or even sector-specific representation such as “required Faith based leader,” youth representation, community or stakeholder groups, and even professional or sectoral expertise on regulatory boards where some of those groups historically or recently weren’t part of those structures. My personal opinion: ⚠️ Yes it is concerning that there are no clear end goals… no cut-off timelines… no measurable targets. South Africa hasn’t had a purely merit based system for over 100 years. I don’t think transformation pressures should be a permanent feature of society. There has to be parts of our system where we declare victory and let other systems take over now. And where these pressures don’t always succeed, alternative tools need to be explored. Keeping something say for example BEE forever, even when it isn’t achieving the intended goals, becomes very hard to defend. We need the best of each community competing with the best of other communities…that’s the only way to get the ultimate best of our communities running our society. My 6 year old is very into drones. He has been saving up money for 3 weeks to buy one. He gets $5 per day if he: 1) makes bed 2) brushes teeth 3) gets dressed for school 4) brush hair 5) puts clothes in hamper 6) eats his dinner 7) cleans up before bed 8) gets pajamas on 9) brushes teeth This morning we go and get the drone. The 4 year old wants to buy a trumpet. They had to work an extra day to earn enough to give away some money and still buy their toys. That was a tough lesson. Next year we learn about taxes and saving.

Tom Aspinall shares why he chose to fight in Abu Dhabi over Las Vegas for his return: "I absolutely love Vegas, as you know. The problem with Vegas it is so far away from the UK... That means you've got to leave home at least 2 weeks before, plus American taxes on top of it. I would rather fight in Abu Dhabi, which is much closer, much less travel time, 3 hours difference from the UK, and the taxes are a lot lower. Abu Dhabi is just a lot more accessible for myself, my opponent, and European fans."

I was just denied entry into a Michael Whatley campaign event at the Waynesville Rec Center — a non-ticketed, free event advertised publicly for weeks with no mention of RSVP in online promo materials. I got the town attorney on the phone. She explained to members of the Haywood County Republican Party hosting the event that this appeared to be a violation of town policy. They refused to listen, and instead called police. I spoke with officers and left peaceably of my own accord. Smoky Mountain News Editor Kyle Perrotti was there too, and although initially permitted entry, he refused — telling me he "could not abide press restrictions." The same thing happened to Bryan Anderson of The Assembly and reporters from NC Newsline | @ncnewsline.bsky.social not even two weeks ago. I was just denied entry into a Michael Whatley campaign event at the Waynesville Rec Center — a non-ticketed, free event advertised publicly for weeks with no mention of RSVP in online promo materials. I got the town attorney on the phone. She explained to members of the Haywood County Republican Party hosting the event that this appeared to be a violation of town policy. They refused to listen, and instead called police. I spoke with officers and left peaceably of my own accord. Dumbbell Flat Press 4–5 sets (bulk) / 3–4 sets (tone) 10–12 reps • Feet planted. • Shoulder blades retracted (pinch them into the bench). • Lower dumbbells 2–3 seconds until elbows hit ~90°. • Press up and slightly inward to increase pec engagement. • Do NOT lock elbows hard at the top — keep tension on chest. 👉 Cue: “Drive your biceps toward each other.” ⸻ 🔹 2. Troy Aikman is absolutely right This is how it’s supposed to go.. 1. Team has long term head coach and has established vet Qb 2. Rookie QB learns on the pine with clipboard in hand. Learns the offensive philosophy of the head coach 3. Rookie finally plays and it’s ugly for 1-3 years 4. Talent gets added each year, as team chemistry and experience takes over 5. Year 4-5 you see what you got Chicago Bears made Fields experience all the lows without giving him a chance with a real team. 3 years of hell !! Bears ruined that man career and gave everything he earned in blood away to another QB Steps were skipped and that’s why Bears went 5-12 and cleaned house Johnson had to build the OL inside and out. Something that has been needed forever! Johnson had to clean things up and I’m glad to see Bears finally get the right coach to develop a QB I just know Fields deserved this chance too…
