That kitten’s face says “I didn’t vote for this,” but the paddling says “fine, I’ll try.”

That's a great way to experience chlorine being introduced in to deep lacerations on your chest

I respect people that have patience with training people or animals to do something they’re afraid of or don’t wanna do. Cats are known to hate getting wet, but I feel if they’re eased into it or slowly get wet, then it shouldn’t be as bad.

don't you realize what you're doing? the spray bottle is the one defense humanity has against a feline uprising. they must not be allowed to adapt to water!

you may be getting the kitty used to water, but **I** for one, would NOT have chosen the pool.. Chlorine residue from the pool water in their fur can make them sick or even kill them. VERY BAD choice!

This is terrible for the cat. It'll cause him to learn how to swim and eventually become a navy SEAL

Cats can technically swim in chlorinated water, but it’s not recommended due to the risks to their skin, eyes, and health... ASSHOLES

Good way to kill your cat. They can’t handle the high levels of chlorine and can get liver damage.

Why would you do that? That’s not good for the cat and it’s a huge stress for them. Idiots.

If you want a pet who likes to swim in water, get a dog! What you're doing is potentially very harmful to the cat. I hope the responses you're getting convince you to never do this again.

Why though? That cat looks terrified, bite how his eyes are dilated and his ears are down and slightly back, and also cats should not be put in chlorinated water and do NOT need to be in water in general unless they have issues with grooming themselves.

Chlorine is so bad for an animals skin, this is damn near animal abuse. I hope they gave him a good bath to wash all the chemicals off or else he’s gonna suffer :(

why tf are you taking it into the pool in the first place? they dont enjoy it period. there is no reason for kitten to be forced to swim at all other than that it's your dumb idea. moron!
