Anthropic released Claude Design TODAY and it's now accessible at I spent the last hour giving it a first look, and shared my thoughts and results in the video below. This is a BIG drop. This is a new design surface from Anthropic, and it changes what "AI design" means. Short version: Claude can now design. Not "describe a design." Not "generate an image of a design." Actual production work — prototypes, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, slide decks, landing pages — editable, on-brand, and ready to hand off. Here's what stood out on first look: → Real design surfaces Prototypes, wireframes, hi-fi, and slide decks — each with templates and proper structure, not just pretty screenshots. → Comment-based edits Leave a comment on any element and Claude revises it. This is the Figma-style review loop, with the designer replaced by a model that works at 3am. → Brand design systems You can feed it your system — colors, type, components — and it actually respects it. On-brand output, not generic AI slop. → Export anywhere PDF, PowerPoint, Canva, standalone HTML. Plus a built-in handoff straight to Claude Code for engineers to implement. → Import from real tools Figma, GitHub, and captured web elements come in as inputs. Your existing work is the starting line, not the discard pile. → Collaboration Share links for view / comment / edit — the exact tier system teams already expect. What I tested on Opus 4.7: • A 5-slide deck generated from a single screenshot. Claude asked clarifying questions BEFORE generating and shipped speaker notes by default. • A landing page build. Solid first pass, real components, real layout logic. • Multiple chats running concurrently. You can parallelize design work across threads like a small team. Why this matters: PMs, founders, marketers, and non-engineers can now create designs that engineers can actually ship with production-ready output and a claude code handoff built in. The gap between "I have an idea" and "here's a working prototype with my brand applied" just collapsed to minutes. Full walkthrough, live demos, exports, and honest takes on where it breaks below. My favorite way of interacting with Claude Code is to have it generate static HTML files as outputs (reports, explorations, code structure, mockups etc.) I wanted to iterate on the file by commenting in browser and having Claude update the output live. So, I built this Claude Skill👇 How it works: - Install Claude Code skill (ask it to clone repo) - Build an HTML page for anything (e.g. research coding agents and generate HTML report) - Ask it to make the page interactive That's it. CC will launch a localhost server and allow you to then leave comments on the page itself and once it updates, will give you a tour of changes. It's like Google Docs kind of comments/iteration but for HTML pages.

here's how I generate beautiful emails using Paper and claude code for humblytics 1) I scraped all of our existing emails and outlined in our obsidian notes 2) ran my marketing-strategist skill to analzye existing open/close rates, pull context from our app and rewrite the entire email 3) connect to the paper mcp, open up claude code, and reference the new emails it just rewrote 4) design the entire email in paper, refine it, then when you're done ask claude code to export is as a .mjml file 5) load the .mjml file and you're done you now have emails that are on brand and designed to your specs

LLM Wikis + HTML Artifacts are insanely powerful. You should seriously consider this in your workflows. LLM Wikis captures all the important information that lets you and your agents do meaningful work. HTML artifacts present that information in interesting ways that allow you to take important actions along with your agents. My HTML artifacts sit on top of my LLM wikis. They are dynamic and are easily extended as needs arise. I have hooked my Artifacts to talk to my agents, and similarly, the agents can talk to artifacts. This has allowed me to build powerful artifacts that reduce my inbox to zero, keep me updated on any topic of interest, fast prototyping, do deep research, design/trigger new experiments, generate figures to improve understanding, schedule research, search relevant information, discover topics, and so much more. What you see in the clip is not a website. It's a simple interactive HTML artifact. HTML artifacts are useful for designers, engineers, researchers, students, and anyone working with agents. Lastly, HTML doesn't replace Markdown. They are a much better combination working together.

How I have Claude automate anything I do on my computer just by showing it: I use the free Clips app and hit record to start recording. Then I just do the action - like navigating to Rippling and approving any unapproved time off - and I’ll often just talk out loud as I do it explaining any add’l details like I would when showing a human. The Clips app captures everything on your screen and everything you say, and transforms it into a format Claude can “see and hear”. You'll then get a link that you can easily share with Claude (or humans too). I’ll paste it to Claude and say something like, "automate this for me every day at 8:00 AM." The link has special metadata that agents like Claude can discover. It exposes APIs to see the full transcript with timestamps and grab screenshots of what was on your screen at any of those timestamps. Once it's created the routine, you can go to the Routines tab in Claude Code desktop app. This also works with the CLI, Claude Cowork, Codex etc. You’ll see your new routine there, and you can just hit Run Now to have it start running it. Video attached shows this step by step. The Clips apps is free and open source - I’ll link to it and the source code in the thread.

Spent the day testing Claude Opus 4.7. Last month I built a design director agent for OpenClaw and now it cooks. 15 minutes in, Paper Design MCP + Claude Code had made me a rough draft. In under an hour, a Framer worthy site. My workflow: 1. Feed my agent references so it can extract design systems and lock in on my taste 2. Claude Code calls Paper Design MCP to generate the visual system (just keep the Paper app open) 3. Paper exports the assets and Claude Code then preps the build docs 4. Agent loops back, critiques, iterates Got no clue why anyone is paying $10K for a website anymore. It’s easy now.
