From warmongering to pandering. September 12, 2001. Joe Biden is one of the first politicians to call for us to go to war after the September 11 attack. He didn't know who we should go to war with, but he wanted to go to war. As the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Biden played a MASSIVE role in getting Bush the authorization to attack Iraq. There's an entire documentary on all the shady things Biden did (i.e., breaking for lunch in the middle of testimonies about Iraq's lack of capable WMDs and then never returning to the hearing). Biden got Bush the support to go to attack Iraq and for years after the war started, Biden defended the war. He even publicly defended the administration lying/exaggerating to get public support for the war (see second video in this thread, it's pretty amazing). During his campaign for President in 2020, the MSM stayed away from asking Biden difficult questions about his past. The few times he was asked about his support for the Iraq War he would answer "George Bush tricked me" and then claim that he always opposed the war. Two of the biggest lies he ever told, but the MSM didn't care. It was there to protect him, not expose him.
