Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson have lit up the red carpet — as their on-screen chemistry from The Naked Gun comedy reboot, which premiered on August 1, 2025 has ignited after filming. Described as a “budding romance in the early stages,” the two are said to be “smitten” with each other, enjoying a low-key, grounded relationship built on mutual respect and shared interests like literature, comedy, and a preference for a quieter life away from the spotlight. Anderson, 58, and Neeson, 73, have been seen displaying affection during their press tour, including kissing on the red carpet and holding hands at events like a SiriusXM Town Hall in New York City on July 30, 2025. Anderson has praised Neeson as a “perfect gentleman” who brings out the best in her, Neeson has expressed admiration for Anderson’s humor, work ethic, and lack of ego, even jokingly saying he’s “madly in love” with her. The couple has kept their of screen romance private, often spending time at Anderson’s home in Canada, where she cooks and gardens, a lifestyle Neeson finds appealing. Despite their public flirtations, both have been coy about confirming the relationship. Friends say that Anderson is having a well-deserved “second act” after having seen her turbulent love life overshadow her career. Fans and media are celebrating the new pairing as a wholesome, age-appropriate Hollywood romance. Early reviews are praising their on-screen chemistry in The Naked Gun, where Anderson plays Beth Davenport and Neeson plays Frank Drebin Jr.

Rachel's speech accepting the "Changemaker Award" at tonight's The Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment Canada event brought the whole room to their feet, per Liz! (via latenightscrollingpod | instagram) Rachel's speech: "Romance has long been dismissed as a lesser form of literature. Of course, a huge part of that is because romance is largely written by and read by women. The stories are viewed as formulaic, unrealistic, silly, and unimportant. But romance stories are very important. Romance novels are character studies. They're up-close examinations of complicated human emotions, and writing sex scenes means living in the heads of characters when they're at their most vulnerable—and often their most honest—selves. It's messy, it's fun, and it's not easy. It can also be radical, because romance novels provide an accessible delivery system for ideas and information. They can provide important reminders to readers that they deserve love and deserve to be treated well and cared for. And for some readers, romance novels are the only sex education they have safe access to so, [counts off on fingers] consent, caretaking, checking in, and mutual pleasure. I am extremely honored to be here tonight in the company of so many talented, incredible women. It means an enormous amount to me, as a romance author, to be considered a “Changemaker.” When I started writing love stories about hockey players over a decade ago, tapping out words on my iPad while waiting for my young kids to fall asleep, I didn't think that one day these characters and these stories would become a global cultural phenomenon. I am, and always will be, grateful to Jacob Tierney, Brendan Brady, everyone at Crave, and Bell Media for taking my books seriously." 🗣️ Women in Entertainment Canada, May 28, 2026 ✍🏼 transcription by Heated Rivalry News 🎥 via latenightscrollingpod | instagram 🔗

I believe that love is the greatest power there is to produce great results and that the most important decision you can make is who you choose to have loving relationships with. A good love partner, or better yet good love partners (your spouse, your family, your friends, and your business partners) who will care deeply about your wellbeing and help you through your downs as well as your ups is the best thing in life. By love, I mean caring about the person so that their being well feels like your wellbeing. If you have love, or at least empathy, you will have the foundation for harmony, peace, and prosperity—just as if you have hate, you will produce fighting, war, and destruction. All major religions are most fundamentally about how to produce harmony, peace, and prosperity through love and empathy – e.g. “do unto others as you would have them do onto you,” karma, etc. Psychologists have shown that loving communities lead to greater happiness, health, and effectiveness. Love is both joyous and functionally good because 1+1=3. To explain what I mean, a little bit of my help for you can make a big difference in your life just as a little bit of your help for me can make a big difference in my life, so us exchanging these gifts of help give us a lot more than we have alone—and it produces the joy of love on top of that. Conversely, 1-1= -3. Look at how hate in war is causing so much brutality and destruction. #love #relationships #valentinesday #principles

You do not have a past-self living within your mind or body. You only exist in this moment at the age you currently are with all that you've lived through. No part of you is a child. You cannot heal the 6-year-old self who was neglected. That neglect was very real if that's something you experienced. The pain you feel from that neglect, it matters and it's real. But only the 25 or 32 or 45 or 56-year-old self staring back at you in the mirror can actually be healed. And she can't be healed by you. The self cannot be both the problem and the solution. It's actually a power outside of you that can heal you as you are right now. Namely, it is the God who created you, who alone has the power to heal you and to help you. And yes, He speaks to you as His daughter, no matter your age, but not as a toddler. He sees and cares about your childhood, but He communicates to you as the adult you are, not as the baby that you were. The Christian approach to trauma is compassion. Yes, absolutely. But it is also the difficult Holy Spirit empowered work of finding our worth in Christ and forgiving those who have wronged us. This is where true liberation is found. It is not found from self-discovery and self-love. No amount of speaking to your inner child, which doesn't actually exist, will lead you down a path of lasting fulfillment. Counseling, in light of that truth, can be helpful and healing for the Christian, but no borrowing of New Age psychology will do.

"I'm known as Britain's strictest headmistress." Katharine Birbalsingh runs Michaela Community School in London's inner city. Despite the challenges presented by a highly multicultural cohort of students from one of the most deprived areas in the city, the school is highly successful, and its results have ranked it as the top school in the country. Every year, over 800 visitors from all over the world come to see how they do it. Birbalsingh’s approach? High expectations. Strict rules. The team always trumps the individual. Students are taught to take personal responsibility, to reject victimhood, to have a sense of duty towards others, and to embrace self-sacrifice for the betterment of the whole. "No matter how often they are told that they are oppressed – that the establishment is against them because they are poor or black or live on an estate – it will always be the case that we have agency." In a world increasingly obsessed with identity politics and victimhood narratives, Birbalsingh offers something radical: the belief that our children are capable. That they have power. That their future isn't determined by their circumstances but by their choices. At ARC 2023, she made a compelling case: our schools should immerse children in values that promote cohesion rather than division. What if we stopped teaching children they're victims and started teaching them they're agents of their own lives?
