#WATCH | Chennai | On Congress leaders targeting DMK over boycotting Tamil Nadu CM meeting on delimitation, DMK MP Kanimozhi says, "Unfortunately, I think the Congress has forgotten the history of DMK and Congress in Tamil Nadu. We have stood against the Congress also on many occasions over the past many decades. This is DMK’s model of Social Justice. A public servant belonging to the Scheduled Caste community in Tindivanam was cornered continuously by DMK Councillors and was made to apologise by falling at the feet of the DMK Councillor Ramya. This is not the first time DMK has humiliated public servants. This is not an isolated incident; earlier, DMK Minister Thiru Raja Kannappan had abused a government servant with caste slurs. What the DMK parades as Social Justice is, in truth, nothing more than Social Injustice.

DMK members and functionaries in Tamil Nadu roam freely with a license to loot, assault, exploit, and intimidate, all under the protection of the DMK govt which is busy intimaitdating the opposition. Here is a poor woman who has bravely filed a police complaint after being sexually assaulted by Thiruvakarai Baskaran, a DMK functionary who not only violated her dignity but also recorded the assault and is now threatening her using that video. Our mothers & sisters do not feel safe under this DMK govt. Tamil Nadu deserves justice, safety, and a government that stands with its people, not with its criminals.

Having long blamed the BJP and the Sangh Parivar for anything that happens in TN under this Corrupt Anti-Hindu DMK Govt, I.N.D.I. Alliance MP Thiru Thirumavalavan has now travelled back over ten centuries to slander the great Chola and Pandya kings, under whose enlightened rule the Tamil language flourished far beyond the geographical boundaries of present-day Tamil Nadu. Such remarks are deeply objectionable. This is an insult to the legacy and pride of the Cholas and Pandyas and Thiru Thirumavalavan’s statement only exposes profound historical ignorance. If he chooses to question whether the name Raja Raja Chola & Rajendra was Tamil, one may well ask whether names like Karunanidhi, Stalin, Udhayanidhi, Dayanidhi, Kalanidhi & others in the Gopalapuram family are Tamil names. If any political coterie has contributed little to the genuine growth and global stature of the Tamil language, it is the DMK and its alliance partners. DMK and its alliance partners must understand that the history of Tamil Nadu did not begin in 1949 when DMK was founded, rather many of the state’s problems began from that point onward.
