Despite our peaceful protests, state institutions continue to commit inhuman atrocities daily. The scourge of enforced disappearances is plaguing the entire Baloch Nation. We call upon the international community and the United Nations to take proactive measures to prevent this systematic collective violence against the Baloch people. Three Baloch... students were forcibly abducted from their homes by security forces. The victims are identified as Bahadur Chakar, a student of the Botany Department at the University of Balochistan. His family members have blocked the CPEC Road and are demanding his safe release. Two youths named Hammal and Aslam have also fallen victim to this dehumanizing practice. We do not expect the state perpetrators of this crime to provide justice and ensure their safety, as the state itself is systematically committing this slow genocide of the Baloch Nation, endangering the lives of innocent people through this brutal practice. Baloch masses from across Balochistan, under the banner of “Breaking Silence: Standing Against Enforced Disappearances,” are resisting state-sponsored crimes against them. In this effort, five peaceful protests have been organized in different regions of Balochistan. As part of this ongoing campaign, a peaceful protest was planned in Panjgur, where the administration and law enforcement agencies attempted to prevent people from participating. State authorities abducted a participant of protest and continue to monitor others involved in the protests. The lives of protesters are in grave danger, as they face the threat of enforced disappearances. After the protest in Panjgur, several protestors were followed and one the protestor Haseeb Baloch, a 22 years old graduate student from ARID university and a resident of Panjgur was enforcedly disappeared by Law enforcement Agencies. Previous protests were held in Karachi, Hub, Turbat, and Khuzdar, where the families of forcibly disappeared individuals registered their cases with the BYC. I condemn the tragic killing of Zakriya Baloch, a former victim of enforced disappearance, Sadly, Zakriya's fate is not an isolated incident. Many Baloch victims of enforced disappearances have faced similar brutal ends. The Baloch people have faced decades of systemic oppression, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings. Today, in Kisaak area of Kech, personnel of Frontier Corps used violence against women and children who were protesting for the safe recovery of their family members. For the last 7 days, family members of Washdil and others have closed the CPEC from D Baloch in Turbat for all traffic, protesting against the abduction of their family members. Human rights organizations and the international community must look into the grave rights abuses in Balochistan, particularly the abduction and extrajudicial killings of Baloch youth. Today, the 11-day sit-in protest by the families of forcibly disappeared Baloch individuals was attacked by the forces when they were marching towards the Red Zone. Elderly men, women, and children were subjected to brutal violence, including live firing. Dozens of protesters were taken into custody and shifted to unknown locations. Dr. Mahrang Baloch addressed the protest rally organized by the family members of the forcibly disappeared Asif and Rasheed Baloch on the sixth anniversary of their disappearance. Families of other forcibly disappeared Baloch individuals also participated. She stated that the denial of rights stems from the occupying power’s dehumanization of the Baloch, valuing the land over its indigenous people. According to her, the state uses violence, fear, tribal conflicts, and narcotics to suppress the population, and the nation must reclaim its humanity. Reflecting on last year’s Baloch National Gatherings, she said the events demonstrated the strength of unity. Despite this, the state has imprisoned BYC members for nine months on fabricated charges and continues enforced disappearances, torture, night raids, and forced displacements across Balochistan. Dr. Sabiha urged society to expose and socially boycott collaborators and state-backed death squads who divide the community and aid oppression.
