dess knight is spiritually kingdom hearts

#trust

Ive been waiting for a chance to preach dess(nobody) knight

Okay but please tell me you’re actually playing/watching KH rn because this series + Deltarune are so thematically similar

Been playing the first one!! am at the end now

Nice! Side note, please play in release order and not "numbered" order When people say this series is "convoluted" it's because almost every piece of media that's slightly related to it is lore relevant and (mostly) required reading (Thanks Nomura)

There's a lot of "play order" guides out there but this one's pretty good imo (Sorry if the length of the doc is daunting, but it goes into detail with all of the missable relevant lore stuff without spoiling anything)

I strongly feel like the ending is gonna be reminiscent of KH1

Wait until you get to Birth By Sleep and learn that this series has its own Gaster too

Dess is all 3 of them stuck in a blender

If the knight is dess' heartless that whats her nobody

In a similar vein Gaster reminds me of Ansem

YOU GET IT

I wonder if the next unused Dess’s dialogues describe her transformation as the Knight.

IVE BEEN SAYTHIBG THIS. YOU SEE the VISION

and THATS why she’s the best candidate

bambi was used up

i see it

Just wait till you reach the second game only to find the perfect parallel to the goners

I mean both roxas and sora also feel like vessel and kris.

If Deltarune ever comes to Kingdom Hearts I totally want Dess to be like FF characters No world for DR, she’s just in Traverse Town or Hollow Bastion passing through

There's also how Sora had multiple hearts inside himself-

i recently got into kingdom hearts and fuck im realizing it too

is toby fox a combination of Earthbound, Kingdom Hearts and Super Paper Mario?

yeah that checks out

We can circle back to Woody Theory from this

There's so many KHisms in Deltarune I'm convinced Toby took inspiration from KH Chapter 5 Ralsei thinks he only lives to serve humans because he has no soul but it almost feels like there's signs that he IS growing a soul by choosing for himself Like Nobodies who grow hearts
