Destiny 2 left a permanent mark on my life. The memories I’ve made with this game, both as a player and as someone lucky enough to work on it, will forever stay with me. Not just because of late nights running King’s Fall with friends, or grinding out the Crucible Glorious Seal in solo queue like a complete maniac, but because Destiny 2 challenged me, shaped me, and pushed me toward becoming the creative I am today. My journey into digital art and photography started back in 2007, when I began taking screenshots in Halo 3 and entering Bungie community art contests. The relationships I built during that time eventually opened the door to an opportunity with Bungie’s Gameplay Capture team in 2014, helping the team capture footage for a new game called Destiny. I had no idea then that a commendably short two-week contract would turn into an incredible 12-year journey with this franchise. I originally came to Bungie hoping to pursue environmental concept art, but along the way I had the opportunity to work on marketing art and quickly fell in love with it. Creating marketing art for a franchise like Destiny challenged me in so many different ways. It forced me to expand my technical, creative, and communication skill sets, constantly adapt, and keep learning new tools and workflows just to keep pace with the live-service beast that was Destiny 2. It means a lot to be able to look back and say with confidence that I had a visual impact on Destiny 2; but the most meaningful part of it all was getting to work alongside and learn from so many incredible artists at Bungie, and seeing firsthand just how much care, effort, and humanity it takes to make work like this possible. It’s hard to fully capture how much energy, skill, and collaboration goes into every visual part of a game like Destiny 2. That work is shaped by artists from different backgrounds, experiences, disciplines, and perspectives. Each of them, including me, left a small part of themselves in what they created. To me, that’s what makes a game like Destiny 2 feel truly meaningful and memorable. Especially now, in a world increasingly saturated with content and driven by instant output and gratification through AI, I keep coming back to the value of process. For me, and for so many of my peers, it was never only about arriving at the final image. It was about the journey it took to get there. The late nights. The iteration. The problem-solving. The trust. The shared pursuit of trying to make something special. To my peers, I’m deeply proud of what we built together, but even more grateful for how we built it. We challenged each other, inspired each other, and kept showing up for one another through every high and low, as Destiny 2 has had many. That kind of shared effort leaves a lasting mark. What we made mattered. What we gave mattered. And the impact of what we built together will stay with us, and this community, for a long time. Shoutout to the current and former members of Creative Studios, the VizD team, and the many Bungie developers and marketers who helped shape this chapter of my life. I’m especially grateful to the teammates who believed in me, encouraged me to embrace failure and new beginnings as essential parts of artistic growth, and pushed me to take on challenges even when they felt beyond my reach. You showed me that the strength of a team will always surpass that of any individual hero. As my work on #Destiny2 comes to a close and I look toward the future, I plan to spend the next few weeks sharing some of the pieces I had the chance to create or art direct that mean the most to me. For now, I’ll leave you all with a collage of some of my personal favorite pieces to work on across Destiny 2’s lifetime. These projects mean so much to me because many of them started as personal passion projects or late-night concept sketches, inspired by playing early builds of Destiny 2 and by the incredible work of our development team.

It was an amazing fun run while it lasted in Onlyfangs Season 2. It's the very first time I have ever died in HC during the Onlyfangs event and it really sucks we are going to have to end our journey due to a d/c rather than a one-shot mechanic, bad plays, etc. Special thanks to ChanceMorris , Mizkif , and their team for organizing the whole event and letting me be apart of it. I was finally able to tank, and Im glad knowing I at least went down saving half, if not more, of our guildies so they can fully disconnect or hearth out. It was a fun time, made great memories, and made many friends, but its time to hang up the WoW chapter. Thank you all, hope everyone had a great time watching, and see you guys maybe for Onlyfangs Season 3? ♥️

This camel endured months of suffering that left him almost completely broken, both physically and emotionally. He was exploited at a petting zoo, where day after day he was forced to let visitors stroke him, ride on his back, and pose for photos. Surrounded by gentle care and genuine love, he slowly began to heal. His hump filled out again, he regained his appetite, started making happy little sounds, and for the first time in years, he was free to run across a wide, open field of grass. From a soul that seemed to have lost everything, this beautiful camel finally rediscovered the joy of living and the life he had always deserved. 💖

I finally mustered up the courage to attempt my very first Raid in Destiny 2. Naturally I chose Garden of Salvation, because I had only ever heard good things about the players who frequent this Raid. After hours of pain and suffering, we finally defeated the Sanctified Mind, and I was excited to collect my loot and I was ecstatic with the idea of potentially getting the Divinity to drop for me. Unfortunately, on my way to the end chest, fireteam leader Alan Sparks decided to kick me and everyone else from the fireteam. How someone could do such a thing is unthinkable, and the fact that the game allows you to be kicked after an encounter is completed but before loot collected is disgraceful. I hope Bungie sees this post and makes this right, whether that be banning this toxic individual from the game forever, or providing me with my hard earned loot. It sucks to have my very first raid experience ruined due to the heinous acts of one player. Interestingly enough, during the raid he was really good at putting on German, Indian, and Australian accents. A man of many talents!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧 The man who first lit a house died 7 years before Edison was even born. One house in Cornwall glowed after dark in 1792. No candles. No oil. Light, burning out of pipes. The first house on Earth lit this way. The man inside was a Scot. William Murdoch, a millwright's son from Ayrshire, walked more than 300 miles to Birmingham in 1777 to ask the great firm of Boulton and Watt for work. ⚙️ Matthew Boulton noticed his hat. It was wood, turned on a lathe the young Scot designed himself. The hat got him the job. The firm sent him to Cornwall to keep its mine engines running. But the nights were his own. In 1784 a model steam carriage ran across his living room floor, under its own power. The first machine in Britain recorded doing it. Then he sealed coal in iron, heated it, caught the gas that came off and piped it through his own house. He put a flame to the end of the pipe. 🔥 And the dark went out of his parlour. By 1805 he had lit a Salford cotton mill end to end: over 900 steady flames where candles had guttered and smoked. In 1807 the first gas lamps rose in Pall Mall. Murdoch did not put them there. A promoter called Frederick Winsor had run ahead with the idea. Companies were chartered and fortunes made, in pounds sterling. Murdoch had never patented gas light, and the fortune was never his. What he got instead was the Royal Society's Rumford Gold Medal in 1808, stamped in Latin: out of smoke, light. 🏛️ You were taught the man who beat the darkness was Edison. Murdoch was 7 years dead before Edison was even born. By 1839, gaslight stood over London, Manchester and Glasgow. Britain lit the night first, and the world followed. 🇬🇧 Today he stands in gold in Birmingham beside Boulton and Watt, and every June the town of Redruth holds a festival in his name. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ His real monument comes on at dusk, in every British street. This article is insane. How is it possible that after all these years, there are still people who identify with the Nazis, or even consider themselves Nazis? Ben Azulay stepped into the ring for the first time in his life against a Nazi fighter with at least 15 fights, who was much heavier than him. I honestly don’t understand how the athletic commission approved a fight with such a huge gap in experience and weight. In the end, the Nazi won by decision. So I have a simple offer: I’m around his weight, and I have a fight record. I’m ready to step into the ring with him. If the fight happens in Miami, I promise I’ll bring every Jew and Israeli I can from across America to come watch it, and millions more Jews will be able to watch it on TV.
