Buster Gets His Happy Ending 🥹🐶🥰🙏 Buster was on a chain for years on cold concrete. We were told it was because he was vicious and dangerous. It turns out he was the complete opposite. He only knew love and his fav thing to do was sniff the flowers. The first part of his long recovery was his health… 👂 He had to have an ear removed as it had been left for so long 🫁 He could hardly walk 10 yards as he was so unfit. We were able to build his stamina up 🧫 He had a bad fungal infection all over. It took lots of care and bathing to fix 🥴 Buster started having epileptic fits. It was vital he had an owner who could help him with his medicine and care. He found that owner in Kitty who came all the way to visit him. To say they fell in love would be an understatement. She takes him on hikes, he goes to work with her as a tennis coach and every video I see he is sleeping in her bed with a big stuffed toy. Although his medical history is complicated he is well looked after now and proves that you should never give up in life. There is always hope. I’ve never met a friendlier or more gentle dog in my whole life than Buster. He deserves this. Well done to Buster and Kitty 🥰🙏

UPDATE FROM COBB COUNTY, GA!!! 🎉 IT’S ZEUS’ FREEDOM RIDE 🎉 Zeus was a 10 year old senior dog whose story really broke our hearts. 💔 Apparently, his family moved out of their home and left him behind completely alone. He was found two weeks later and brought to the shelter. When Zeus first arrived, you could tell he was heartbroken. He barely wagged his tail, didn’t want to get out of bed, and just seemed so defeated by the world around him. Even when he started coming out with us volunteers, he stayed very quiet and withdrawn… 🥺 Then one incredibly sweet couple drove all the way from Chattanooga just to meet him… and the second they saw Zeus, they knew he was meant to be theirs. 🧡 When we brought Zeus into the office to get him dressed up for his big day, something about him already felt different. It was almost like he knew his life was about to change. The moment he saw his new parents sitting in the lobby, he immediately went right up to them like he had been waiting for them his entire life. 🥹 When they opened the car door, Zeus tried SO hard to climb in as fast as he could. We were all laughing through tears because although he’s an older senior boy, he was determined to make sure he wasn’t getting left behind again. And the second he got into that car, everything changed. That sad, quiet, heartbroken dog slowly disappeared right before our eyes. Zeus started smiling, rolling onto his back, asking for love, and soaking up every second of freedom. I truly believe he knew exactly what was happening 😭❤️ His new mom sat in the backseat beside him the whole drive home. She kissed him on the head, and Zeus looked back at all of us one last time… almost like he was saying thank you, and then laid down right next to Mom … His new family decided to rename him Worthy because they said he is worthy of love, and I truly do not think there could have been a more perfect name for him. It was such an honor to be part of your journey, Zeus. 💙 Thank you to this amazing couple for giving him the beautiful life he always deserved. Freedom looks so good on you, Worthy!! 😭🎉❤️

wonbin’s childhood injury lore is actually insane 😭 apparently, wonbin’s mom raised him tough. he once injured his knee while exercising and had to wear a full leg cast, but even though his school and home were in completely opposite directions and quite far apart, he just walked home like that. in gyeongsang-do, unless you’re literally falling apart, you go anyway~ he knee got scraped up so badly that it had a hole in it and was bleeding, but they just told him, “go wash it and come back~” 😭 when he was little, about one-third of his left earlobe got torn, and they just treated it with fucidin. he even joked that this earlobe was basically made with fucidin. there was also a time when he was playing futsal with his friends in the middle of winter and hit his ear on a bent wire fence. his ear was bleeding profusely, but he was so scared that his parents would find out and scold him that, instead of going to the ER, he went to his friend’s house and treated it with some “white medicine,” “red medicine,” fucidin, and madecassol. he also once got a cut near the outer corner of his left eye. His P.E. teacher immediately covered his eye with a handkerchief, and that’s when he realized it was bleeding. but because he loved guitar so much and had an after-school guitar class, he just got it roughly treated at the nurse’s office and went to guitar class. even his lower back only hurts on the left side. everything is on the left. and when he was little, he once hurt the back of his right hand while playing. it bruised, but he was afraid his mom would find out and scold him, so he didn’t tell her. apparently, the tendon ended up sticking out / shifting out of place 😭

Excellent Breakdown Of The Mysterious “Suicide” Of The Hero Police Officer Who Saved 4 Lives During Oklahoma City Bombing Right before he ‘Committed Suicide’ he said, “They're not telling the truth about what's going on down there” “One year after the Oklahoma City bombings, this officer who saved four lives was found unalived under very strange circumstances. On April 19th, 1995, Sergeant Terrence Yeakey responded to calls that a bomb had gone off in the Murroff Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. Sergeant Yakey was the first person to respond that day and was able to save four people before the second floor collapsed and he injured his back so severely he wasn't able to continue. An hour and a half later, police arrested Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, who were anti-government extremists. A year after the bombing, Sergeant Yakey and 90 other officers were selected to receive the city's medal of valor, but just three days before the ceremony, he was found unalived in a field near his hometown of El Reno, Oklahoma. His car was found abandoned along the side of a dirt road, and there was a lot of blood in the car, but his body was found about a mile into the field off of that road. No gun was found on the scene, but he had been shot in the head and he was covered in cuts as well. According to one report, quote, "While still inside his Ford Probe that he had parked on a lonely country road, Yakey slashed himself 11 times on both forearms, twice on his throat, then apparently seeking an even more private place to end his life, he crawled 8,000 feet through rough terrain and climbed a fence before putting a gun to his head, which apparently took him to the hereafter.” He didn't leave a note, there was no investigation or autopsy, but police still immediately ruled that he had taken his own life. On April 19th, 1995, Sergeant Terrence Yeakey responded to calls that a bomb had gone off in the Murroff Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. Sergeant Yakey was the first person to respond that day and was able to save four people before the second floor collapsed and he injured his back so severely he wasn't able to continue. An hour and a half later, police arrested Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, who were anti-government extremists. A year after the bombing, Sergeant Yakey and 90 other officers were selected to receive the city's medal of valor, but just three days before the ceremony, he was found unalived in a field near his hometown of El Reno, Oklahoma. This man was always excited about Skyline Chili, he’s heard from co-workers how good it was and always wanted to. On his day he happened to be in the vicinity of one and decided to try it out. Immediately when he walked in, he wasn’t greeted at all, in fact they ignored him. The cashier that begrudgingly took his order seemed forced and was bothered by having to serve him. He felt like they made it a point make him feel unwelcome. He ordered the food for dine in, waited a while for it and saw that they packed it in bags to go, further emphasizing how not welcome he was, determined to get the full experience, he sat and ate. He noticed his food was intentionally watered down and disgusting. He was very underwhelmed by this. He was still so upset about being treated so poorly, he left his food and left the restaurant. This is one post I wish I didn't have to make. I'm very sorry to tell you that Sid passed away yesterday. He was surrounded by his family and left this world with more love in the past 7 months than he had ever known in his entire 13 years. His family are devastated as am I. I loved this lad from afar, they have to bear the heartbreak of loving him so dearly and then losing him so soon. His family and I would like to thank you for the love you have shown him. He got these 7 months because of your generosity and care. Run free beautiful boy 😔 you are forever in our hearts 💔 🌈 This is his last outing to the place he loved the best. A beautiful soul who deserved longer. 😔

My wife in 2012 took her own life… and one of [my kids] was worrying to me because he never processed his mom’s death in a way that I could observe. About five years ago… he went to Patagonia to kayak a white water river that I kayaked for many, many years… The night my son arrived there, the guy [he stayed with] said to him ‘I’m doing an ayahuasca trip tonight’… so my kid ended up doing this. After he drank the ayahuasca… he felt himself sinking through all the geological strata of the Earth, and he told me… he had a total understanding of all of the processes that had laid them out through the eons. He ended up being propelled out the other side of the Earth and then floating through space for what he experienced as hundreds of years. He would focus on a distant planet and be transported there, and on each planet he would have an adventure and at the end there would be a lesson that he was supposed to remember. The last planet he visited, his mother was there. And she started passing through him, in and out of him again and again and every time she did that, he felt all these experiences of forgiveness, of love, of understanding, of comprehension, of empathy and compassion. When he came back from that trip, he was completely changed. He was very open about talking about his feelings, [but] the reason I really know that it changed him is he started taking out the garbage and doing the dishes. I have a friend who’s a Navy SEAL who had severe PTSD and he went to Costa Rica and had the same kind of experience.
