Today it’s not just a preview anymore: the inventory can now equip and unequip clothing, update the 3D preview in real time, and apply the outfit to the actual player character in-game. This kind of freedom is exactly why I wanted to dive into s&box. Still rough. Still early. But now it’s starting to feel like a real system. #sbox #GameDev

Lot of work done on deployment system. So how is this going to work (since there are few changes compared to the original plan, but I believe it's a massive improvement). Depending on the number of your active bays, you can deploy multiple ships to different places, travel time depends on destination, type of ship, and so on. As the ship is traveling, you can go back to managing base, crafting, research, and handling events, or you can simply speed up time (more about that soon, but nothing original). When the ship arrives at the place where you can deploy it for the mission, that happens instantly. So you can wait for the ideal day and weather if you wish. At any time, ships can be recalled. #Precursor #pixelart #gamedev #indiegame

Venus flyby is expected on 2034-12-19, 120 days after departure. Feed it to Claude Code via Figma MCP 3. Get a strong foundation in 15 minutes 4. Spend the next 50+ hours iterating (still design work) The design/dev loop that used to be isolated is finally closing. I even built a complete design system in within minutes. Custom components, living documentation, accessibility rules all from the Figma designs. If you're measuring the effectiveness of these tools by whether they can "one-shot" a design, you're consuming too many AI hype commercials. Log off. Then go actually build something with your hands. It's hard to ignore the sense of Iran's power on the Strait. Smart Control: the new system. The Strait is now under smart control by Iran's naval forces. Safe routes have been designated by the navy and ships must obtain security clearance to pass through. The strait is closed to hostile ships and those affiliated with them. Any ship whose origin or destination is a hostile country, regardless of its flag, is not allowed to pass. Ships that have remained here for a long time are waiting to receive clearance. Locals say that food and water are being sent to ships that cannot approach the docks.

People often ask how did the Unitree robots get so good all of a sudden. It wasn't all of a sudden, and it's because they ship their hardware and open source their SDKs. Arguably these robots are nearly useless out of the box, but you have full dev control of them. Because of that, the hardware has become a very popular R&D platform with an ecosystem around it and the Unitree G1 is undoubtedly an order of magnitude better than it could ever be at this point if Unitree was instead just doing quiet internal dev of both the hardware and software. Too many hardware companies for really cool products that seek to be community-driven (robots, AR glasses...etc) desire to make a profitable walled garden and their greed just ends up walling out developers and their product gets outpaced by the G1s of the world.
