Man, I really hope they'll add simulation nodes to the shader editor soon, how heavy is the attribute writing with geometry nodes? The mesh seems pretty high density

I only used geometry nodes here to have a custom dynamic paint setup, which in itself was very lightweight and easy to implement, the performance overhead is actually from the shader side of things.
