@nbcbayarea Would have preferred the Led Zeppelin tune over this broken dialup modem for the soundtrack.

@nbcbayarea There is no healthy soil that’s why there’s a flood. Carbon sequestration as above so below. If the water won’t go down it will go up. Farmland pesticides destroy the soil therefore large amounts of water will have no where to go because the roots.

@nbcbayarea Which is good for the farm land as it replenishes much of the soil with new fertile materials, mositure. It is why people farm in flood plains. They are the most productive after the floods recede.

@nbcbayarea Buy it's important you keep in mind, the drought is not over. Please refrain from watering your lawn during the daytime hours. Thank you.

@nbcbayarea Eventually most levees will break or overtop. Water usually wins.

@nbcbayarea Well, the farmers are finally able to water their fields, and drop some fresh silt on top, I guess? River bottoms are great horticulture ground. Just as long as you can handle it occasionally turning into a rice paddy.

@nbcbayarea You mean flood water is entering g the floodplain despite dumb attempts to stop it with riverside banks? Those river banks only make floods more dramatic.

@nbcbayarea @GavinNewsom and his ilk did nothing to increase the height of our levees to increase water storage
